Beachwood Cottage by Bayley Vacation Rentals

Great place Location was excellent and there are many activities nearby. The beach was just across the street!

Overall we had a great trip! We stayed for 3 nights with myself, my husband & our two kids (5&2). Communication with the rental company was great and they were always quick to answer questions. I do not know if this is standard for rentals these days, but having to pay to upgrade to early check in was off putting. The check in time is later than most at 4pm and you are asked to pay a fee based on wanting to check in 1 or 2 hours earlier.The house was clean with many amenities including a yard & fire pit. I will say we were suprised to see the proximity of the neighbors yard and that the back yard was not fully fenced in, allowing full access to the neighbors lawn. In my opinion you cannot tell this is the case from the photos. A consideration for those with small children - the house is also on a much busier road than I had anticipated. With the yard not being closed in and the house sitting so close to the busy road, this did make us uneasy with young kids who can open doors with traditional locks. I would advise bringing a travel safety lock for doors as well as a baby gate for the stairs. You cannot beat the proximity to the beach and easy access to Portland & OOB. The bedding was comfortable & clean with ample towels provided. The kitchen was well stocked. The only bathroom is on the first floor which is tricky at night with young kids. The home was decorated nicely with a nautical charm. Our kids had a blast & we made great memories!

We had a fantastic stay in this beach house. We within a very short distance of many great amenities, including a beach side carnival. We were able to explore Portland and the nearby beaches. The house has a lovely patio where we played games and even made s'mores in the backyard.

The house was amazing and we had such a great time! It was plenty roomy for 7 adults and a really nice place. It was a quick stroll to the beach, basically right across the street. A huge backyard with a nice fire pit and an outdoor shower to wash your feet off. The management company was kind and checked up on us via text to ensure we knew how to reach them if needed. Overall it was a wonderful stay!

This house is wonderful, with a great back yard and quick walk to the beach. Our family loved staying here and looking forward to booking again!

We had such a wonderful week. The walk to the beach was only 3-4 minutes and the beach was amazing! The kids loved the whole experience. We would absolutely come back!

Very good Stay!

Incredible beach location while passing through on way to Acadia. Would love to stay here again at Old Orchard beach!

My family enjoyed our stay here and loved being such a short walk from the beach and only 5 minutes from the Old Orchard pier area. The house is very clean and has everything you need, however if you are traveling with a toddler I recommend bringing a safety gate for the stairs.

Right next to the beach as advertised. Good food options within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.
