Stayed Jul 13, 2023This house is in a great location but it could use a deep clean. Every time we entered the house it smelled extremely musty. We opened the windows the first night and tried to air it out. We went to a hardware store and purchased odor absorbing products. Nothing changed the odor. We considered moving to a hotel but we thought we thought it would improve with time. It did not. There were many areas that could have used some cleaning- not the obvious things but dead bugs on surfaces, crumbs in drawers, etc. We also encountered some spiders and the largest centipede I have ever seen. The decor is quite spartan but that is not a problem. It is functional. The pictures of the lake in the listing are taken in the winter for a reason. During the summer the bushes and trees obscure all but a minimal view of Lake Michigan. I took a picture to include but it appears I cannot attach photos in reviews. The location does afford easy access to the beach, many restaurants, and 3 Sheeps Brewing. With some effort this could be a great rental house.

Stayed Aug 19, 2021This was a great property in a perfect location. With views of the lake and a quiet residential neighborhood, it was a great getaway. It is perfectly located for playing the fine local golf courses and we also found some fun and unique eating establishments. Overall a great bargain for the price and we will definitely reserve for our next trip!
