A synagogue can be reached in a short walk from the house, and just a short walk to the nearest church. If you’re in the mood for shopping, head over to the Galleria Mall, which is a short drive. You’ll find a vast array of restaurants nearby, many of which are within walking distance, ranging from Italian, Cuban, Mexican, Greek, and American cuisine to pizza places, late-night eateries, and fine dining at Pelican Grand Hotel just across the street. Stroll along the beach, swim in the ocean, get a suntan, go for happy hour at the Blue Martini, and then have dinner along the intercoastal waters at the Marano's, situated only 3-4 blocks away.     We stayed for four nights--family of four. This place was perfect for us -- 2 bedrooms with 3 beds. The location is very close to the beach with easy access. It is also very close to Hugh Taylor Birch park, which is terrific place to spend time in, especially at The Grove. There are several other restaurants close by. And you're a very short drive from Lauderdale-By-The Sea as well as Los Alos BLVD. Overall, a great place for our family.
