Our revamped 70's 3 bedroom beachfront bach is the last bach on the beachfront, bordering undeveloped land all the way south to Maketu.
A total renovation has produced an open plan, modern retreat to rest and relax in whilst still retaining that traditional Kiwi bach feel.
We have a brand new kitchen as well as a butlers pantry so the bach is well set up for coffee and various teas, and home cooked meals.
We have a huge wrap around deck for you to sit on as you watch the waves rolling in. The hammock. hammock chair and bean bag are attractive alternatives if you feel like a snooze. There are covered areas to shelter you from the hot sun and rain.
We look straight out to Motiti and Mayor islands and you will often see distant ships waiting to come in to port.
The seabirds soaring on the wind currents are a sight to behold. The expansive white sand beach is beautiful for long walks either towards Mount Maunganui or in the opposite direction towards Maketu.
We have a fully fenced section and there is a carport at the top of our section that you can park 2 cars end on end. Parking is limited to this carport. To access the bach, you can either walk down through the green gates and down the path through the garden or alternatively you can walk out the beach side of the carport, through the little wooden gate to access the bach down our short private walkway. The houses behind us that are part of the Marjorie Lane subdivision also access the beach via this walkway. They are very friendly and nice to chat with if you would like to meet the locals.
A short 1.3 km drive will take you to the local 4 square store, cafes, a gym, bakery, sushi bar, restaurants and bars, and even a cinema to catch up on current movies.
We have a brand new New World and a selection of eateries recently opened at 255 The Boulevard.
A 10 minute drive takes you to Palm Beach Plaza and Fashion Island where you will find a supermarket, chemist, hairdresser and The Warehouse along with many other shops and eateries.
Our famous Mount Maunganui is a short 20 minute drive away where you can spend the day at the surf beach or the estuary, walking around the mount or up it if you are feeling energetic, eating ice-creams or lazing in the thermal pools at the base of the mount.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
The person signing the lease must be at least 25 years old
Only registered guests may stay
This is a quiet property, for chilling out and relaxing so absolutely no parties or special events
No smoking/vaping or excessive drinking
No pets

PRICING:
Pricing is for up to 4 adults. Extra guests are $25 extra per night.

PARKING:
There is a covered carport for your use, that will take 2 cars end on end. This is a shared driveway and there is no space for extra cars. Thank you.

Sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, tea towels, dish cloths and bathmats.
Pillows, duvets, extra blankets.

KITCHEN:
Tea, coffee, basic pantry items
