Beachfront, private pool, spacious, tranquil

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Del Mar. The house and the beach are great. We had almost no one else on our beach for a whole week as we watched the whales go by every morning. Sharon and Keith were very accommodating and helped make everything perfect. We hope to be able to come back again soon. It was probably the most relaxing vacation ever.

What a great place to stay! So beautiful and peaceful. We loved the house and the location. Many thanks to our host for helping plan our outings. We think we did it all...So nice to come home and relax overlooking the ocean and beautiful landscape.

My family and I returned to this beautiful villa for a second time, and it won't be the last! It is our favourite place to relax together, by the pool, on the veranda, by the firepit, in the hot tub....so many choices. We drank our coffee in the morning watching the whales, and had evening drinks watching the sunset. The privacy is amazing compared to crowded beaches at resorts. Many days we would plan an outing, and then decide it was perfect right where we were. This has to be one of the very best locations in the Baja area, with everything you need at your fingertips. Sharon and Keith work hard to help their guests relax. They are the perfect hosts. Can't wait for next year!

The pictures on line do not do this property justice. A group of four of us stayed in the larger of the two homes, Villa del Mar, and were impressed beyond belief! We have stayed at many VRBO properties throughout the world and these two homes are impeccably maintained and our hosts Keith and Sharon were great!. The house is stocked with every possible amenity one would need. The pool and lush garden area is unbelievable. One would think that by being in the middle of the desert on the Baja peninsula that there would not be much vegetation, but the landscaping that Keith has worked on is remarkable. The pool is immaculate and with the surrounding pool deck we had trouble getting up to leave. There is nothing between you and the beautiful Pacific Ocean and we sat every morning with coffee and night with cocktails watching some of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. The beach out front makes for excellent walks in which you will rarely see another person on the beach for as far as you can see in either direction. There is so much beautiful sitting area on the outside of Villa del Mar that it makes for perfect reading, napping, or conversation. We also had the opportunity to tour the smaller Vista del Mar which is equally impressive. It sits back from the ocean with nothing blocking the views or the sound of the ocean and it has a spectacular roof top deck in which to view the ocean from a higher vantage point. Keith and Sharon are wonderful hosts. They are extremely knowledgeable of the area and provide excellent recommendations on dining, activities, and anything you may want to know about the surroundings. They provided all of the privacy we needed but were there for any need we may had…which was none. We love dogs so they allowed their beautiful dog Cassie to come by and say hello when she was out. Between Keith, Sharon, Cassie and the stunning views from these homes our trip was absolutely perfect! We highly recommend this property if you are looking for an unforgettable vacation experience.

Thank you for such a perfect family holiday. The combination of the beautiful villas, the sound of the surf and Sharon and Keith's gracious hospitality was just what we needed. Even though we had seen all the photos, everything surpassed expectations. We stayed in both the Villa del Mar and the Vista del Mar. The large house is spectacular - so many places to sit and relax and watch the surf and the whales. The casita had everything we needed as well. If we had any questions, Sharon and Keith were available and full of great suggestions of places to go and places to eat. We discovered so much more of the area thanks to their guidance. The whole area is beautiful to explore, but some days we just wanted to stay and enjoy all the amazing features of the property. Miles of unspoiled beach, the private pool, hot tub and palapa, the two firepits, whales every day...and the constant sound of the waves. We can't wait to go back to Baja Beach Getaway!

This place is amazing and so relaxing. Just got done with one of the most outstanding massage therapists, Javier, I've ever had tenderize my sore bod. I would say after 9 days, I have completely decompressed. Ready to come home and hit the ground running with so many plans for 2015. If you ever want to come and have an amazingly relaxing time away from the concrete jungle, and in the sunshine in the middle of winter, then come stay at the casita of Villa del Mar. Our amazing hosts, Keith and Sharon Sheldon will make sure you have everything you need during your stay. We experienced outstanding surf nearby, sleeping to the sound of crashing waves; my kids played in their jammies on the sand first thing in the morning. It was a remarkable trip filled with adventure and and relaxation.

We had such a wonderful time in this beautiful home. Sharon and Keith do such an awesome job in keeping this place looking amazing. We ended up staying longer then what we were planning, we were having such a great time. We will definitely return.
