The heart of the home is a wide-open great room that flows into a chef's kitchen with a generous island, perfect for grazing boards and slow mornings with coffee in hand. Multiple living areas give everyone room to spread out — settle in for a movie, claim a spot by the window, or head to the dedicated game room for a friendly showdown across the ping pong, billiards, and foosball tables.

Outside is where Lighthouse really shines. A private pool anchors the lower deck, with lounge chairs angled toward the surf and plenty of space to dry off between dips. Upstairs, the rooftop patio is built for sunset hour — gather around the fire pit, pour something cold, and watch the sky shift over the dunes. When you're ready for the water, your private staircase drops you straight onto the sand.

The six bedrooms are thoughtfully laid out across the home to give every guest a quiet corner to retreat to, with crisp linens, soft coastal tones, and plenty of natural light. Four full bathrooms mean no waiting in line on beach days.

Welcome to one of America’s last true beach towns! This fun, laid back area is perfect for a relaxing beach vacation. A mecca for great views, great food, and some great surf, you’ll be nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Folly River. Enjoy 6 miles of beaches, surfing, kayaking, boating, and endless sunset views. Beautiful Morris Island is a great spot to take in the sea life and panoramic views. Take a stroll down Center Street in Downtown Folly, which boasts tons of eclectic bars and restaurants that are fun for the whole family.

Home Truths:
- You must be 25 years or older to book this home.
- In addition to the 6 bedrooms, there are two additional sleeping spaces--a loft area with a twin bed and trundle, and a bonus room with a twin bunk bed. The bonus room has a sliding door for privacy but no window.
- Please note that Early Check-In (ECI) and Late Check-Out (LCO) services are not available from May to September.
- From May to October these beaches are home to nesting sea turtles. To protect these turtles guests will be expected to turn off all outdoor lights and close the blinds at night from 10pm to dawn.
-The exterior floodlights have been disconnected to protect the sea turtles.
- This home allows 1 dog for a fee of $250; undisclosed animals brought into the home without AvantStay’s approval may result in a minimum $500 fine.
- This home has a private pool which can be heated with at least 24 hours notice for $80/day (3 night minimum) as long as the ambient temperature averages over 55F.
- Beach chairs are not provided.
- Fireplaces are not for guest use.
- This home is located in a quiet residential community, and Folly Beach has a strict noise ordinance starting at 10 PM. To comply with this ordinance, we use noise sensors in our properties. Please be mindful of your neighbors.
- Please note that due to natural coastal conditions, beach areas may experience periodic erosion that can affect shoreline size and accessibility. During periods of high tide, portions of the beach—or the entire beach—may be temporarily inaccessible. We are not able to guarantee identical beach conditions for future stays, and refunds or relocations will not be available due to these natural changes.
- While we do our best to communicate any known work within Wild Dunes or nearby beach projects, many homes are privately owned and we are not always notified of surrounding activity. As a result, we are unable to guarantee a disruption-free environment or offer relocation for any unforeseen construction.

    I would have liked to have rated this a 4.5, but didn't have the option. The location was perfect, the property was clean, spacious, activities were available for entertainment, and the kitchen was well stocked for meal prep. However, much of the property, including furniture, exterior stairs, and trim is a bit worn and in need of some replacement/TLC. One of downstairs beds is using a cinder block as a support for the box spring resulting in the occupants rolling into each other. Bath linens were far from luxurious. That being said, my family of 10 had a wonderful time. The property managers were very responsive and addressed issues that needed immediate attention (exterior lighting (driveway and front stairs), exterior fire pit, and questions concerning local health care).

    This was a clean property that suited our needs for a family visit to Folly Beach. The community spaces were comfortable and big enough to accommodate a large group. The game areas were fun to have. The kitchen was a little smaller than we thought from the pictures, but it accommodated cooking for our group well, and the kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and cooking tools. The location is the best thing here, though - right on the recently refurbished beach, which was wide and beautiful. Loved being able to run down the beach in the morning and pick up a paper at Bert's on the way back. If we're down in Folly again with the same group, we'll definitely look this spot up again. Had a great time!

    Would definitely stay there again. Five of us shared the house so there was plenty of room. Right on the beach so location was great. Did some cooking and kitchen worked well. Checkin and out was easy.

    Awesome property and management group! We booked this property for 14 adults and were excited to find a place that had great common spaces and play areas. The house and pictures were accurate as advertised. Big dining area, great TV area and pong and pool table spaces as well. Very short walk to a great beach! The property management was excellent. We had a small issue that we alerted the management team and they were quick and responsive to rectify the issue. Communication regarding check-in, check out and amenities were clear and descriptive. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

    We had a great stay! Morning walks on the beach, great location. The house was perfect - open floor plan, plenty of space for everyone. My only complaint is we were too busy doing activities and didn’t get to spend enough time at the house. Great communication from hosts. Hopefully we will be able to go again someday!

    This house did not disappoint! We had a few issues of our own making, and the property managers were quick to answer at all times, even late into the night, not quitting without a solution to our satisfaction. The view was incredible and there was more than enough room for all of our crew and then some! The semi private beach was fantastic, as well. I highly recommend this property!
