BEACHFRONT & LARGE POOL THAT CAN BE HEATED

We had such a wonderful week staying at The Best Thing Ever! The pool allowed our children to enjoy swimming since there was a double red flag for three days due to high winds. The house was very clean and well stocked for our needs. The host was very accommodating and attentive to our satisfaction. We will definitely consider a future stay at this amazing beach home

Rooms were clean the Host was available when we needed her. The view from the sect facing the ocean was great we drank coffee every morning sitting on the deck watching the dolphins swim by. No hot tub we had the pool heated and enjoyed the warm water

This was a 3 generation family vacation. Bedrooms on 2 floors allowed the parents to be near their children and the grand parents on a floor to themselves. The pool was great, allowing the children to play and show off their swimming skills. It also allowed grownups to sit on chaired on the deck. We loved the ledge all around the deep end to allow you to walk and/or swim. The 2 balconies had shade all day because of the size and facing south. St George Island has lots of sandy beach and shallow pools near the house at low tide The chest in the carport area was full of toys and digging equipment. The children loved their bedroom with bunk beds and the beach themed items allowed for education, such as what is a lighthouse…Plenty of comfortable furniture inside and outside for the adults and the TV got all the football games on Saturday afternoon and evening.

Really enjoyed the house and vacation on St. George. The house was in very good condition, being very clean with nice furnishings and no maintenance issues at all...including the pool and entire property. Very well-kept and conditioned. Property owner was attentive and checking in with us during our stay to make sure everything was going well, etc. The pool was excellent, the location was ideal IMO. It was just far enough towards the east end of the island and the reserve/park area that it was private and peaceful. On the beach... Groups of dolphins every day... Caught whiting, a shark, catfish, etc.... Was a great vacation at Best Thing Ever.

We loved this house. There were 8 of us and the house was the perfect size for our group. The pool was fantastic and much bigger than I expected. There were a couple of minor things while we were there and Allyson was right on top of it. She responded quickly and with kindness to everything. This is probably our 10th time to visit the island and St George never disappoints. If I had to give any negative feedback it would just be around the lack of tvs in the bedrooms. But Allyson explained that situation to me and we understood completely. Overall - 5 stars!
