Stayed May 29, 2026We stayed at the Pirate’s Paradise over Memorial Day weekend and had a great vacation at a Great beachfront location! Plenty of room for our entire family, from grand parents, to toddlers, all together in this very comfortable space. Watching the tide come in and out from the deck overlooking the ocean was especially relaxing. Bed was comfortable, 4.5 bathrooms made it easy for all to get cleaned up after the days on the beach, and kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to prepare our meals. The small pool was great for the toddlers to enjoy the water too. The elevator was great for the grandparents, no climbing stairs to get in and out of the house. 10 minutes from Downtown St. Augustine. I would highly recommend this property for a beach vacation!!

Stayed May 7, 20268/10 GoodThe main draw of this house is the location to the beach, publix, restaurants and downtown St. Augustine. The ocean views from both balconies were exceptional. The house itself is in need of TLC. Although we did have some issues, management responded quickly and took action. Had a fun time staying here. Thank you.Lisa B.Stayed 4 nights in May 2026

Stayed Apr 30, 2026Such a great home right on the beach! We had 3 families with us and all of us had plenty of space. Great family area around the kitchen/living room. So easy to walk to and from the beach. Host had great communication the whole time. We cooked every night and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Feb 14, 2026The main draw of this house is the location, which is great. Being right on the beach, the views were great. The pool was also very nice -- although too cold this time of year to do more than dip ones feet in.The house is large enough for a family to spread out. The furniture and beds were in good condition. It is an easy drive into town. The house itself could use some TLC. There are a lot of areas that could use spackle, paint, or a faceplant screwed in properly. For the most part none of these really affect the quality of a short stay.

Stayed Dec 27, 2025The property is well-appointed, and has a beautiful view of the beach from both balconies. We could see the fireworks from St. Augustine which was a plus. The beds are comfy, the bedding is very nice, and it’s a quiet neighborhood. The WiFi worked well, as did the direct TV. The kitchen has everything. The communication with the manager was excellent.

Stayed Dec 4, 2025Our host David was very quick responding and helpful when needed. The house was perfect for our large group and everyone enjoyed the view and the spaces. It was in a nice and quiet location away from the busy main part of town, but not a long commute. The kitchen was well equipped, except I couldn’t find a teakettle. The only thing different I would have like would be to have dimmer switches on the overhead lights, but I’m spoiled in that regard. Lol

Stayed Nov 26, 2025We stayed at Pirates Cove for a long weekend and it is a wonderful place!! Right on the beach for beautiful ocean views and long morning walks along the beach. It is close to Publix, restaurants and coffee shops with St. Augustine just a short drive away, so very convenient. House is exceptionally clean, bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you need for cooking in, if desired.

Stayed Nov 7, 2025What a great place to stay! Right on the beach and so close to all the attractions. The house was very clean and well stocked with extra bedding and kitchen supplies - except the 2 slot toaster is way too small for the capacity of the house. The 300/day is misleading. can only use for one free ticket per attraction & only 4 attractions available. Not a deal breaker. I would go back again in a heart beat. The staff is very helpful and responsive.

Stayed Oct 10, 2025We traveled with 2 other families, total of 10. 3 eight year olds and 1 six year old. The place is right on the beach, just cross the driveway and over the dune. We had some rough weather when we arrived, for about 24 hours, but the weather cleared out for us. We had some beautiful days on the beach, we just hang with chairs, toys, and umbrellas on the beach all day, that's our groove. Fair warning - this particular beach is drivable, therefore you will be among cars. The beach is very nice, surfers and fisherman alike. Loads of birds to watch as well. We had an incident, completely out of everyone's control, and the property management handled it well and timely. The house is a bit older, but we'll appointed. There are three bedrooms with king size beds, along with two (2 twins) bedrooms. Plenty of room, lovely decks to watch the beach. Pool is small but perfect for dipping and kiddos.

Stayed Sep 5, 2025I do not recommend this property or this company. The listing is inaccurate. There are conservation dunes in front of the house so you are unable to access the beach from the house. The internet in the house does not work except if you are sitting right next to the modem. The TVs in all of the bedrooms do not work. The home needs updating. We messaged the management company and our concerns were not addressed except when we decided to leave the property 6 days early. We found a nicer home with actual direct Beach access and moved. Stay away from this property and this management company.

Stayed Aug 14, 2025My family of 4 which includes 2 year old and 3 year old boys spent Thursday to Monday at the rental at Vilano beach. David was very welcoming and quick to respond to any questions/concerns. Before the trip, we had planned to take the short drive to Saint Augustine. However, we never made the drive because we had so much fun at the beach, Vilano, and the house. The beach in front of the house is on an inlet. It had a huge tidal pool that was perfect for the boys. The house has a small pool that is perfect after washing off the sand from the beach. Although we didn’t visit Saint Augustine, we could see the lighthouse, fort, and historic buildings from the property. The house is very nice with great views. It was big for a family a 4. It could have easily fit 2 more families. There aren’t many choices for restaurants in Vilano, but we liked the retro, small beach town feel. We highly recommend the trip. Thank you David.

Stayed Jul 20, 2025We had a wonderful family vacation at this property! If location and convenient access to the beach are priorities, this home is ideal. It’s only steps away from the sand, which made it easy to carry our chairs, umbrellas and beach gear. It also gave us plenty of opportunities to take morning and evening walks to search for seashells. The house sits at the end of a quiet street and is within walking distance of a grocery store and restaurants, so we rarely needed our rental car. The home is a short drive from downtown St Augustine, which made it easy to explore its history, shops, and attractions. Our beds were comfortable, and there were enough bathrooms and showers to accommodate our group. The kitchen was stocked with all the cookware we needed to prepare our own meals. There’s a small pool for relaxing and cooling off when we needed a break from the sand. The large deck quickly became a favorite gathering spot for the family. In the evenings, we’d sit in the rockers to watch the ocean and occasionally spotted dolphins passing by. We enjoyed looking at the lighthouse in the distance too. This home offered the perfect combination of convenience, comfort and beachy charm for our family vacation!

Stayed Jul 21, 2025Our family has been visiting this rental for over 10 years - there is an easy booking process, and it’s a great location to walk right down to the beach or a close drive to town. Plus it is really nice, clean property with super awesome space for large families/groups with its two master suites, other bedrooms with plenty of beds, perfect pool to cool off and dip the kiddos into, and tons of rockers on two decks to enjoy the views around. It also has great accommodations for our older and less able to walk family members with the elevator. Don’t miss this spot!
