The host was great. Communicated clearly and timely. The place was lovely. Lots of homey, personal touches that made it comfortable. It was dog friendly which we appreciated. And it was right on the beach. Home run!

Waking up gradually to the rising sun on the 3rd floor was perfect. Stars at night were beautiful over the dark ocean. The host responded quickly, and supplied everything we needed. We really loved everything about the house and location.

Wow! What an amazing stay! Everything was simply perfect - check-in was seamless, and the place was spotless. The views were magnificent and a terrific way to start and end our days. We had all necessary amenities for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Just steps to the beach! We also loved being able to walk everywhere, including to restaurants/bars/cafes. A true gem!

I cannot speak more highly of this place, location, or the host. Maureen went above and beyond to answer questions prior to the trip. Additionally, the place was stocked. What a nice change to not have to bring sheets and linens, coffee, or dish soap. When traveling with kids you always pack so much and having little necessities already stocked in the home made it that much more enjoyable. The place was clean, easy to find, and had a great location. We never had to get back in the car because everything was in walking distance. I've already told Maureen that we will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful place to stay!

Location, Location, Location! We loved the endless views of the ocean from every level. You could hear the beautiful sounds of the ocean waves as you fall asleep. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and spotless. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and the overall floor plan was very good for those looking to relax. The decor, furniture, and finishings were great! You can walk to restaurants, bars, and coffee shops easily. Overall our stay was impressive and we will definitely be back! Our only wish would be to have direct beach access. However, it really wasn’t a big deal to have to walk around the units to get to the beach pathway. We would definitely recommend this spot to others and are looking forward to coming back soon!

Everything is exactly as beautiful as the listing says. Beautifully furnished, all the supplies you need for a wonderful beachfront vacation! The owner is a call or text away for any questions. The only question we had was, “May we rent for a month next time?”

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful Dewey Beach home with its breathtaking ocean views, thoughtful decor, and excellent location. The sunrises were spectacular, and Maureen was responsive and helpful before and during our stay.Unfortunately, after our stay, our experience was soured by a post-checkout misunderstanding regarding pet hair. We brought only one pet and followed the rules as we understood them (e.g., using blankets on furniture, etc.). Despite this, some dog hair transferred to the linen couch, and we spent considerable time cleaning it. Maureen sent text messages afterward that were inaccurate, felt unprofessional, and were disproportionate to the situation. In her texts, she accused us of having multiple pets and disregarding pet rules.We travel with pets frequently and have had no issues with other rentals/ pet policies. We think this property should either reconsider its pet-friendly designation or adjust expectations. The house is lovely, but potential pet owners should be aware of the strict standards.Were it not for this unfortunate interaction, our rating would be outstanding. The property itself is exceptional, but the post-stay communication significantly impacted our overall experience.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this lovely beach house. Having rented many homes along the Atlantic coast this was by far one of the best experiences. The house was well appointed and very comfortable. We found the property in excellent condition, inside and out. The location was perfect for long walks on the beach and access to restaurants in both Dewey and Rehoboth. The house had awesome ocean views from both the second and third floor.

This is the perfect rental. Even nicer than the pics, impressively stocked with everything you might need and beachfront in an ideal location. Maureen was extremely accommodating and responsive. We will be booking again in the future.

We stayed at Beachfront Baby for 5 nights to celebrate Thanksgiving. Just to be clear, staying on the ocean along the east coast has been our family’s tradition for Thanksgiving for the past 7 years. BY FAR, this was the best stocked, well maintained home we have rented. The floors were sand and dirt free, showers were spotless and overall condition of the home was hotel quality. I always bring staples with me to make sure I can prepare a full Thanksgiving meal while we are away. Let me tell you: this home is exactly that. I didn’t need anything! It’s has every size pan, measuring cup and even supplies enough coffee to keep me cooking all day long! The kitchen is well appointed and beautifully up to date. You can be in there all day long if you have to be but also never miss a beat because the VIEW… Ok, that’s what you all are coming for the location - you have it as this home sits right on the ocean and two balconies allow you two enjoy the amazing view of the ocean (other balconies face away) Even is you are inside while you are here, which I imagine you may not be if you are lucky enough to visit during prime season, you have fantastic views all day long! Once it’s time for bed, I have to tell you, the beds are great too and the sheets!!…. I actually looked at the labels on the sheets to see who made them because it was like sleeping on silk!! I could write more but just see for yourself and book it!! No regrets!

This property was amazing. I love going to the beach during the off season. This had been a rough year with loosing family and animals. It was a last minute trip and we needed to find a place that we could take a dog. The property was amazing. Maureen was a great communicator

Great location, very clean, the kitchen is fully stocked, mattresses are comfy, and the ocean view cant be beat! We’ll be back!

We loved everything about this house. Even on days when the weather wasn’t inviting for the beach, we could still experience the beauty of the ocean from many vantage points at the house. This house is spacious and super comfortable. A lot of space for a group to spread out. The kitchen is wonderful for cooking (so well equipped and roomy) as well as for dining and playing games. Our beds were all super comfy and the bathrooms are great. Having decks on both sides and on 2 floors was great for watching the beach and the water- and for curling up in the late afternoon sun with a book. Highly recommend this beautiful place, and its host, Maureen, who is so helpful and responsive!
