Beaches Be Sippin' - Ocean Views with Private Pool & Rooftop Deck

We went to Destin for the first time for spring break.This is a beautiful, quiet & safe neighborhood. We had teenagers with as well & had no issues with the HOA. Wonderful for kids & a short walk to the beach. The house was beautiful with plenty of space for everyone. The Pool was great, we just wished there were lounge chairs. The living room sofas & rugs could use a good cleaning, but overall we would rate this house a 5 and would definitely stay here again!

The house was perfect for our girls getaway. The property management team were always super quick to reply before and during the trip. Plenty of room and the views were amazing. We will for sure be back!

We stayed here with a group of 11 and it was great that everyone had their own bed. It does feel pretty apparent that the house is targeted at rentals as there are quite a few rough edges that keep things from being entirely functional (no consumables for cooking, lukewarm hottub, undersized TV in living room, slow shower drains, bad grill). Overall, it was a nice place to stay, but is a few steps from luxury.

House is great and as described. The HOA in this place is nothing short of annoying and almost solely responsible for why I know of several people that now rent elsewhere. I get that things have to be structured and they have permanent residents. We are a very structured family with a lot of respectful young adults, and the rudeness of these people, I find very much responsible for the imperative search to find a nice place outside of this neighborhood. We have stayed here three times, and it is consistently unpleasant to deal with the HOA. The house is very nice, but the outdoor areas need attention, and it is not worth the extra $250-300 to heat the hot tub because it never stayed hot long enough to enjoy being out there on a chilly night. Overall, if you don’t mind snooty HOA up in your grill 24/7 and feeling like you are being interrogated just walking the neighborhood for exercise or driving in it. Then, go for it! It is a great, spacious house. It is beautiful, with very few minor issues. If I were rating only the home, I might would give 5stars, with just a little tweaking ?

We were a group of cousins for a long weekend. The house had plenty of space, and we enjoyed the common areas and proximity to the beach. We especially enjoyed sunsets on the rooftop deck. We did not use the pool - some in the group were disappointed the hot tub is not actually a hot tub. It's just an extension of the pool and was definitely not warm enough for relax in. Also, the pool was full of sand and needs to be cleaned. The front steps, porches and pool deck could use a good power washing. We never used the pool and it wasn't in a great location - near a loud road and the neighbor's A/C units. But the beach is beautiful and access was very close by and easy. The house was well-stocked overall, except it would be nice to have hair dryers and beach towels. As beach towels are easily cleaned and so inexpensive, it seems cheap to not provide them. It's probably the first beach house we've ever stayed in that did not provide plenty of beach towels, chairs, etc., and the chairs and umbrellas on the beach are an expense people should be prepared for. We assume this is a rental company/Destin standard.

The house was amazing!! The neighborhood was wonderful. Shorth walk to the beach, and you didn't have to worry about traffic. Wonderful stay!!

The home was very clean very nice and the beds were great, the location is great, access to the beach is awesome. The property manager was hard to get a hold of after 4 PM (check in time) so getting in the home at 4 PM was an obstacle as the key code wasn't working. Also they only heat the pool and the hot tub to 90 degrees so don't expect a hot tub experience its more of a spa.

Renting the property was not an issue on VRBO. Check in and communication with Five-star Property Rentals didn’t go so well. We were told that we would receive receive check in instructions midnight prior to her arrival date did not receive the info. I had to make contact while traveling. Received info, entry code didn’t work, during our stay the door never locked when leaving the unit. We close the garage door.

Celebrated wife's birthday with family and a couple of close friends. Excellent location and accommodations. We enjoyed everything- short walk to beach and short drive to many shops, restaurants, etc
