I vacationed in Destin as a child before Silver Dunes was built. It is still a wonderful place to stay.

I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, my vacation was a wonderful experience. My main complaints would be that by the time Thursday rolled around the garbage out front by the office and the garbage that goes into the chutes on each floor were filled beyond capacity and the garbage was stacking up on the concrete floor below the chutes. I think that more effort needs to be put into living up to the reputation that Silver Dunes has maintained in the past in this area. The room was clean; however, I think a little more effort could be shown in this area also. Silver Dunes has always been like a second home to us. Please strive to keep it that way in the future.
