I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We come back each year to Silver Dunes because it's family friendly. Everything from the pool, courtyard to beach is perfect. Our unit, 42 had a great kitchen. The carpet needs replacing and new beds in the guest room. Our only complaint is the garbage buildup in the stairwell. If people couldn't fit it in the garbage shute, they left it sitting in the stairwell. My suggestion is clear communication to guests that this isn't acceptable and give a solution to where they can take their garbage if it doesn't fit in the shute.

The unit was well furnished, carpet appeared to need replacing. Found cookies under the bed upon arrival, kitchen had areas that were not clean (fridge, stove).Stayed with silver dunes the past 25 years, usually things are cleaner.

I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had a wonderful vacation in Destin, FL. Unfortunately, management didn't seem fair with my group. Upon first arriving, staff accused my group of piling too many people off the RV. They also said we were keeping people awake at night despite our whole condo going to bed at 10:00pm. When further evaluated, it was determined a board member was staying in the room next to us and had hawk eyes for our group. One day while staying in the pool, a security guard approached and said due to Florida Ordinance we cannot have any fluids within pool range. We quickly removed our drinks. The next day, when more vacationers arrived, everybody had drinks within the pool with no problem. We also got in trouble on the beach for playing family-friendly music at an appropriate level.

There was plenty of room and access to the beach. There are several thing to do and restaurants in the area. My only complaint is both the inside and outside of the condo could use an update. Overall we had a great mini vacation!

Unit 42 is beautiful and spacious. I loved having 2 floors. The view from the upper balcony was simply gorgeous. The Silver Dunes complex is so inviting and family oriented. We loved the S'mores night with live music. Sorry the weather was not good for the pool grand kids love it and cant wait to go back. it is a perfect place to stay. We have met several families 2 years in a row here that are now our friends. We enjoy going to LuLu's for dinner. The beach is clean and beautiful. We will be back
