Very nice well decorated house. Being on main island road was a bit noisy at times. A lot of steps to negotiate. Would have been extremely helpful if the baggage lift was not locked out to guests. Microwave turntable was broken, the detergent door on dishwasher was broken, and only one of the two burners on gas grill worked. However kitchen was well appointed with various appliances and plenty of dishes and utensils.

It is a quick and easy walk to the nearest beach access. Our group consisted of 6 adults and one very busy and active baby who celebrated her first birthday during our stay. This home was perfect for us because the upstairs deck had a secure gate at the stairs, as well as a screened in area which was safe and secure. This helped give us peace of mind while enjoying the outdoor area. The kitchen was very nice and had plenty of dishes and pans for all of our needs. This is a great home!

Absolutely perfect beach house!! The owners have great attention to details and exquisite decorating style. Definitely a house set up for a larger group with lots of comfortable sitting areas. One block to the beach and bay, stunning sunrises from the porch, and a pool designed for lounging made for one our favorite beach trips! Thank you for sharing your paradise!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay. It would be so nice to be able to use the elevator to bring our things to the upper level. We are aging and have health issues and opted to stay in the lower suite because we couldn't carry suitcases up the stairs. We however enjoyed our stay with family. The house has had some nice upgrades, but the bathrooms were not as clean as I would have liked them. There was mold and soap scum in each of the showers and tub in the hall upstairs The gate to the pool needs repair and the hose and hose reel at the pool are way past time to be replaced. Each time we tried to wash the sand off the patio area the end of the hose reel kept exploding off the end from the water pressure. I finally just connected the hose to the water faucet and bypassed the reel after getting wet a couple times. It would have been a funny video for sure. We did not ask for sheets and blankets for the sofa bed but it would have been nice to have them at the house if someone would have chosen to sleep there. The Management crew at Forgotten Shores Properties was wonderful and responded to each one of our needs immediately. They are the very best at making your vacation stay everything you hoped for. It was a wonderful vacation.

This is a wonderful property, with a nice private apartment on the lower level if that’s what you need. Built-in privacy for the special guest. The wraparound balcony was incredible. Unfortunately they do not allow access to the elevator. Conveniently located, bike trail right across the street. My only complaint, burn the sofa. The beds are great, the sofa has seen better days.
