Beach house for the whole family!

Robyn's home was everything we were hoping for, for a longer stay on the Central Coast! It was a great launching point for coastal hiking, plus there is a lovely park, Dinosaur Caves, just a block away. We really enjoyed walking down to the rocky coast and watching the pelicans and other birds at sunset or in the morning.The house itself was super comfortable, much more spacious than it looks in the pictures! Very clean and kitchen was well stocked. The decorating was delightful, local art and not overdone. The couch and easy chair in the living room were super comfortable after a long day out.The neighborhood felt safe quiet with established homes, and we enjoyed walking a block up to Shell Beach road with several restaurants, especially Zorro's!

Great house and amazing location

Our second summer staying in this wonderful vacation home. Perfect location, comfortable setting, house has everything we needed.

This property is perfect! We have rented other houses in Shell Beach and this one is the best that we have found so far. Very responsive owners, comfortable house, great location. Highly recommend!

Cute well stocked beach cottage with modern touches. Advise to guests: watch water temp in kitchen & master bathroom, beware of steam burns in master shower. Beach is closed, no access. Do not run water during night as pipes start knocking so bad it sounds like a jackhammer in the bathroom walls. Bring your own toilet paper as this is the cheapest, thinnest, scratchiest paper - I've seen better in gas station bathrooms. If you are traveling with a small dog be aware they can get out of both front and back yards. Advice to hosts: upgrade the toilet paper. Really. Even just a little. Put warning label on hot water in kitchen & master shower, or turn down the max temp a little. Replace the squeegee in master shower - it doesn't work even with full body pressure. Find source of pipes knocking & do whatever it takes to fix it. Nearby beach is closed fyi. This place is comfortable & nice, good job & thank you.

We weren't able to get away for a holiday this year so decided to work somewhere beautiful for a month - and wow we picked the right house. Right in Shell Beach, close to Dinosaur Park (pups were happy), lovely patio to sit on, nice (and looked like recently renovated) well-supplied kitchen, fenced back yard (again, good for the pups), two generously-sized bathrooms - lots of thoughtful touches - all around this house exceeded expectations.

This home is very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect...it was a short walk to the ocean or into town to eat. The front patio is a great place to start and end your day just enjoying the weather and chatting with people walking by. It’s an easy drive to Pismo or Avila Beach. After making this our home for a month it was hard to leave, but we will definitely be back.

Perfect location to walk to ocean cliffs to watch birds, sunset and the waves crush. Great town to walk around. Awesome kitchen with everything you need to cook up wonderful meals and sit out on the front deck and watch the sunset. Nice bathrooms and comfortable king bed in master. Host was helpful and responded to texts. Definitely would stay again.
