Beach Front Oasis 15 Minutes To Downtown Victoria

Beautiful location over looking the lagoon & ocean with amazing sunrise.We were fascinated with the several ships passing by.The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed The waterfront was within walking distance and there were several shops a short drive away.We would definitely recommend this property to others.

We could see the ocean across the lagoon behind this property, so this was nice. We arrived on The Island in the off season, so not all island attractions were available to us.

We had a great. Host was very accommodating. We will be back.

Perfect spot to watch the sunrise every morning! Comfortable, clean and quite a charming place to stay. Jayne was an amazing host and if I ever find my way back will definitely be checking the availability of this cozy retreat.

We were delighted when we arrived and saw the back yard and view. Further delighted with the decor (very nautical, coastal). All very clean.

Lovely property, close to beach/bird sanctuary. The property was perfect for a sisters visit to Victoria. Comfortable and clean. The owner was friendly and helpful with our questions about the area. We would stay here again if we come back to the Victoria area. All in all an excellent experience!

We had a wonderful time here. Jayne welcomed us with a bottle of wine and scones. She gave us great ideas of things to do and places to go. We cooked dinner every night thanks to a well stocked kitchen. We spent a lot of time out on the patio with a wonderful view. She has a pear tree that we could help ourselves to and they were delicious. This is in a great location and several places to walk. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. I highly recommend her home. It’s clean, comfortable and quiet. Jayne is a perfect host and very easy to communicate with prior to check in and during our stay. Thank you for sharing your home.

An amazing location with access to Colwood waterfront and hiking trails just steps away. We saw a whale, sea otters and many birds. It offered a real ocean front vibe while being a short drive to downtown. The suite was clean, very well appointed and had the most comfortable beds. The living area and deck have incredible views of the waterfront. Jayne is a lovely host and ensured we had a perfect stay.

This location is perfect if you're looking for peace and quiet and would enjoy a view of the Salish Sea and the Olympic Mountains right from your window and front porch. Jayne, the owner, is very attentive.

Quite, clean and very peaceful

We had a brilliant time, Jayne was the perfect host. There was a beautiful garden and view of the lagoon and the unit was very comfortable and clean and welcoming. Would definitely come back!

Great place to stay. The view was amazing from the place. Nice quiet and comfortable accommodation. The beds and bedding were perfect to get a great nights sleep.

Very quiet property. Only thing missing that would have been nice was a BBQ.

This gem was exactly what we were looking for - the location was spectacular, the suite was cozy and bright, with a splendid view. The host was welcoming and very helpful, and we were just minutes away from where we needed to be. I think this has spoiled me and definitely changed how I will choose vacation stays in the future. We will definitely be back!

The property was perfect for us. Great location, fantastic view of the lagoon. One of the cleanest, well appointed properties we have stayed in. Jayne thought of everything - wine, water, milk, K cups for the Keurig. Highly recommend! Loved the coastal decor too.

This was a wonderful place to stay! We can't recommend it highly enough. Enjoy the sunrise/sunsetting on a lagoon with the ocean just beyond. Jayne has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Warm cozy bed, snuggly blankets in the living room and well-equipped kitchen with everything from a Keurig to a soup pot. (She even supplied a nice snack and wine!) The bathroom is a great size with a tub/shower stocked with upscale shampoo/conditioner and soap. The 2 rooms are ample size...4 could easily enjoy the space. Take a walk along the beach, or enjoy nearby Victoria. You're close to everything.

Wonderful place to stay, wouldn’t hesitate to return

This is a gem of a place to stay. The close proximity to interesting places to visit and the advantage of being next door to a bird and wildlife sanctuary is a big plus. Our host Jayne made us feel welcome and we would use her place again.

We enjoyed it stay at the ocean front oasis. The location was perfect and property was spectacular. Or host was kind and inviting and our stay was perfect.

We picked place due to proximity to my Aunt. It was perfect for three adults. Clean, all the utensils you needed in the kitchen and lots of fresh towels. Being on the lagoon was beautiful and we had nice walks along the beach. I would recommend an extra frying pan, my brother wanted a sports channel and the roof was too low for him(he had to duck in the shower and in bedroom). That’s very minor. I would recommend and stay here again!

Overall very nice though wifi info in guest book contradicted info card upon arrival. Also heat was difficult to control…but overall very happy with let.

It is exactly what it looks like in the photos. Jayne is absolutely awesome! Such a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Easy access to grocery stores and bike trails. And the view is terrific. Stay here-you won’t regret it.
