Beach front house- 3 BDR each with a King - 10 Minutes to Port Austin!

This place is one of my favorites. The host thought of everything. The house is immaculately clean, the beds are super comfortable, and there's plenty of room. There are TVs in every bedroom, new appliances, and nice furnishings. Everything you need to cook with us in the kitchen. Such a homey and comfortable place!

This is a must stay property!! The house was fully stocked with everything imaginable. The host was very accommodating and responsive to our questions about the area, etc. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Christina's home. Everything was very well organized and very clean. Our host was easy to communicate with and answered any questions promptly. We walked the beach, explored the nearby small towns and had fun playing ping-pong!

House was great, location was phenomenal! The view is absolutely breathtaking. Christina was an amazing hostess. Super pet friendly, lovely layout. The single beds in the closet of one of the upstairs bedrooms was such a cute idea.

The house was perfect. Three couples, loved the king size beds in each room. Kitchen was one of the best equipped we have ever had in a VRBO. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!!

We had a great week at Christina's place! The check in and check out were easy and Christina was amazing at communication and making sure we had everything we needed! The only downside was the beach/water. There was a lot of muck at waters edge which made it nearly impossible for my 3 year old to play there. They do have a large sandy area away from the water and she was able to play there. And there were a ton of rocks in the water and it was difficult to even walk in in (this is something that the host can't control).

Awesome property! Amazing communication with the host. House has everything you need. Kitchen is fully stocked. Kids enjoyed the kayaks and ping pong. Adults enjoyed the outdoor patio and fire pit. Views are amazing. Great place to relax and recharge.

Christina has created a wonderfully inviting home for her guests, and you'll feel like a very special guest at Huron Bay House. Originally, I opted for this home because of the outdoors space, which is fabulous, but the inside of the home is warm and welcoming. Thanks for the great vacation!

From the booking through the stay Christina was fabulous! A week well spent in a beautiful spot with so much to do!

We have had our share of adventures booking through VRBO but this one made up for all the others. Christina was the perfect host and her house is just as perfect. She has thought of everything and made the home so comfortable for all of us. We actually hardly left the house because everything we needed was right there, the lake, we cooked and our family. Leaving was just not necessary.Thank you, Christina for providing such wonderful accomodations, we had a wonderful week!! Everything you promised was there and then some. We cannot wait to return next year, counting the days already.

This was our second time staying at the property and it was once again AMAZING! The host is very gracious and allowed us to check in early. The beach is DIRECTLY out the dual sliding glass doors. Easy access to the beach. Had special items for our dogs. The bedrooms, the kitchen, the living room, and bathrooms - all stunning. Well maintained.

Communication before and during our stay was AMAZING. The house was perfect for our multi-generational family weekend. And, the amenities were the extra touch that put this over the top. Kayaks! Clean, spacious, and great location. Will def return if I’m ever in the area again.

Wonderfully comfortable house. King beds were a luxury for our 6'2 son! Labeled light switches were a great help, especially in the dark! Spent every evening in front of a glorious fire in the living room. Thrilling views of golden eagles and swans out on the lake. We had brought our own pet supplies but it was a lovely touch to have pet towels, treats and toys available.

Location is convenient and property ie well kept. This part of the thumb has much to offer for those that like the outdoors and small towns.

We needed a home for my family with a pet. The location was perfect to visit relatives. House is exactly as described and is well kept and renovated. Many thoughtful extra touches by the owner were appreciated.

The place and property were very well maintained, clean and nicely decorated. The view was amazing, unfortunately for us, the weather didn't cooperate too well but we made the best of it. Everything was as described or better. The condition of the property was excellent even after a full summer season. The interior was well appointed and spotless. The location was great for tours up and down the Thumb coast. The fall colors were excellent, if not peak close to it. Enjoyed just sitting on the beach and patio watching sunrises and moon rises over the lake. Would definitely do this property again.

Right on the beach- no cliff, no steps. Walk out to water, walk almost 1 mile on sandy beachfront. House was immaculate and very well supplied. Photos very accurate. A little over 10 minute drive to Port Austin- beware after Labor Day many restaurants closed. Neighborhood/street extremely quiet and peaceful- hardly saw any people. Great to sit on patio and enjoy views of Lake Huron. Furniture and beds comfortable.

Christina is a fantastic host, her communication is outstanding. This property has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. We loved our beautiful sunrises in the morning and our time around the nice fire pit in the evening. Christina was so accommodating with our party and can’t say enough good. This home worked out perfect for our ladies golf weekend. The house was clean, well stocked, and suited our needs perfectly. Hoping to rent it again next year for our annual trip!

We had a very lovely time. House was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed using the kayaks and fire pit. We loved the beach and swam daily including the dog who also had a great time!

The view is awesome and the cottage is so cozy! Christina and her family are wonderful hosts. The house was extremely clean and very comfortable. The beds were super comfortable to sleep in as well. They really went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our stay And sweet little gifts for our children to enjoy while we were there. They were extremely friendly and had a lot of things on hand that we needed for our young children such as a pack and play and highchair and lots of toys. A lot of times when you do a home rental, the owners provide the bare minimum of toiletry items and kitchen supplies. In this case, Christina and her family went above and beyond. The bathrooms even had infant Tylenol and first aid kits just in case. There were also plenty of pillows and towels, which was really helpful. She also had lots of different cooking supplies and spices that we were able to use which made things easier for us as well. The flat top grill outside was awesome. Our kids loved playing on the beach, and we really enjoyed taking walks on the beach as well. We would definitely consider staying there again and will recommend it to our friends and family members! Spent a week in this beautiful home. We had the very best time. The owner Christina is so accommodating and thoughtful. She goes out of her way and adds extra touches to make sure your trip is Awesome! We have spent many times in vacation homes and i can say that Christina and her home is one of the Best!!

The inside of the house was beautiful- great layout, clean, updated, great decor, and amazing linens. It’s obvious that a lot of thought has been put into this vacation property. We enjoyed exploring the area of Port Hope and Port Austin. We had amazing weather so there was a lot to do … kayaking, shopping, checking out the lighthouse, and trying out some restaurants. (Although we ate most meals at the house and had everything we needed!) The only downside was that the beach was pretty much unusable for human swimming. There was a lot of natural debris and very, very thick and slimy muck at the shoreline and beyond for at least 20 feet. It also smelled rancid. We allowed our dogs to play in the water, but didn’t feel comfortable swimming in the water ourselves. That being said it is still a beautiful place to stay, close to the water in the thumb.

This lake home is so lovely! There isn’t a single detail about the home or your experience that hasn’t been thought of and handled in a generous way. I’m a bit touchy about germs and this home is immaculate.

The house was as good as it looked online! We absolutely loved our stay. By far the best supplied rental we’ve ever stayed at. The owner has thought of everything you could possibly need and has it. Super comfortable furniture and wonderful outdoor spaces. Truly a special place. The location was quiet but close enough to Port Austin to be convenient.!
