Get away from it all and relax with a view of Lake Huron in Downtown Port Austin

Absolutely awesome as always stayed here multiple years and already booked for next year!

Host immediately responded to a request upon our arrival.Beds very comfortable after a day’s deer hunt.Appreciate the large kitchen and freezer to process our deer.Enjoyed large living room and TV w/ UtubeTv to relax during evenings.Kitchen had a new addition of an air fryer.

House was in a great location. Clean & well stocked with supplies, appliances etc. Very nice property.

The cottage was super clean and charming. It had a great location to Lake Huron and Port Austin activities. I would recommend it to anyone and I would return myself if the opportunity presents itself.

We had a nice stay there, close to the beach which the kids loved. Had a campfire for the kids one night. Close to town only thing is the kids thought the bunk beds where hard, so they just slept on the couch. But the house was clean and had what we needed. We would stay again. Thanks

Very clean and convenient to the wedding venue. The host is quick to respond to any questions. Their entry keypad needs updating but we could get it to work after a few tries. Lots of spices and condiments there that is very helpful.

We were in town for a family wedding and we could not have been happier with our stay. The location makes it super easy to walk to town. My mom stayed at a hotel in the middle of downtown and she walked over or I walked over to her countless times a day. Shops, ice cream, putt-putt golf, kayaking, the beach, and the break wall- so many things you want in town are all right here. We ate dinner on the back deck a few times and we had s’mores one evening over a little fire in the fire pit. The rooms were comfy and I always appreciate a house with blinds in all the windows. The kitchen met our needs except the one thing we wished for was a different cutting board- the glass one gets slippery when cutting produce. Other than that we have zero suggestions. This house is PERFECT!

Property was clean and inviting, wonderfully stocked and literally right around the corner from everything.Will definitely choose this property again.

Just lovely. We come for porchfest and love being able to walk into town. The house was clean and comfortable as always.

Cozy cottage that has all you need!

Comfortable home away from home. Large kitchen with full fridge to process and freeze our venison. Comfy couches to watch tv in the evenings. Floors were recently updated along with tv service…no more dish.

Worked well for us

Things were quiet and peaceful up in Port Austin this first weekend in October. Beautiful weather, great accomodations at the cottage, good food, friendy people, kayaking and the farmers marketlast week of the Saturdaylast week

Loved all aspects of this property. Location. Neighborhood. Peaceful. One thing I was not a big fan of is no smoking on the property. Had to sit in the vehicle or walk walk walk to enjoy a cigarette. Great spot. Think we left it as we found it. Towels washed and put away. Bed stripped and sheets washed and in dryer. Dishwasher ran. Only problem was trying to get front door key back together.

This house was super clean and extremely well stocked (an unusually high attention to the smallest detail) with whatever you might need to make your stay care free. It has a great vibe and is a short walking distance to swimming and a short drive (about 10 minutes) to a beautiful State Park with trails and a few miles of gorgeous Pure Michigan shoreline. The host is a quick and clear communicator. Port Austin is a great place to visit far from the crowds. We recommend driving the route along the shore back to metro Detroit as well. Also great value for the price. Highly recommended.

Nice quiet area with good lodging.

Enjoyed our stay at the Cottage. Quiet and relaxing. Location is convenient to all needs, The owner was available at all times to communicate with if there were any questions. Plan on renting again.

Well pleased with the property and location. The cottage was the most stocked with supplies I’ve ever stayed in. Lake Huron is visible from the side deck and everything in Port Austin is walkable or a very quick drive to get there. Owner was easy to communicate with. Would stay again!
