The host, Kyle, is quick to respond. Beautiful home in a great location. Kitchen is well stocked and lots of thoughtful details you don't find in most rentals. The heated pool and hot tub were a hit with the kids. Highly recommended.

Great location. Walkway down to the beach had one section that was a sheet of plywood that was difficult to navigate.

Our extended family had a wonderful week together in this house. It was the perfect size for our crew of 15 people - we never felt cramped and there was plenty of space for relaxing and dining together on the main floor. The 3 balconies also allowed for plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. Each bedroom had a full bathroom which was also excellent!! Note that the bedroom on the main floor has a bunk bed in it/is not exactly a “primary” bedroom (in case you are, like us, planning for a grandparent to use that room. :)) but it was totally fine. We loved the pool and hot tub, which kept us busy in between trips down to the beach! Both were serviced during our visit which ensured they were clean and well taken care of. This was our first time staying on the north side of the island and we greatly enjoyed it. Although it was further to get to Surf City, there is convenient shopping on the mainland in Sneads Ferry. The beach was lovely and not too crowded at all.There were some general upkeep needs with the house, as is common in these vacation rentals. One thing to note is the stairway down to the beach has a section that seems to be temporarily patched and doesn’t have handrails. We ended up buying bags of ice because the fridge ice maker is broken and while there are two table top ice makers, they didn’t make enough for our large crew. Not a huge deal but just to be aware.Kyle was extremely communicative and helpful. We loved our stay and highly recommend to other families!!:)

The house is conveniently located near the bridge so you can access everything pretty quickly. We enjoyed the large kitchen, private pool, and covered decks. Owner was very quick to respond and friendly. The house and kitchen are stocked very well!

This house has it all! Lots of space to spread out, beautiful views, lots of kitchen necessities, and supplies to get our week started. The host, Kyle, was super responsive to our needs and bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our family enjoyed this property so much and hope we can return!

This house is beautiful, and very close to the beach/ocean. Coffee on the deck and morning sunrises were just amazing. The kitchen island and long table were perfect for our family meals. Kyle, the host was very responsive to all questions. As per other reviews, the ice maker in the refrigerator still does not work, but the ice maker on the island was sufficient as we ran that and dumped it into the freezer. One jet on the hot tub still does not work, but we enjoyed it anyway. We had a wonderful trip and the home is very spacious and updated.

We were in town for a wedding a couple of doors down, and decided to extend our stay to include Thanksgiving week, and I believe it will become a family tradition based on our stay in this rental. The house was very clean (and I am very picky), and comfortable (again, I'm picky). We have never stayed on the northern part of the island, so were a little concerned about beach erosion, but the beach was nicer in this area than I expected. We had guests ranging from age 2 to 88, and everyone was happy with the accommodations. I will say there are a number of steps both in the house, and down to the beach, so if that is something that bothers you, be aware (it didn't bother us). Kyle was great to deal with and we only had to reach out to him once with a question. We hosted Thanksgiving dinner for 19 and the kitchen was well equipped. Appreciate the extra fridge and wine fridge as well as the additional dishwasher... and the beautiful sunrises/sunsets.

My family and I have been vacationing annually in Topsail Island for the last 19 years. We stayed at many nice houses and come to love the island and the people here. But this house exceeded all expectations. It was the cleanest, Had every thing we could possibly think that we might need including a high For the little one, beach towels, plenty of bath towels, every kitchen gadget

While no property is ever perfect, overall we were happy with the house. The beach was quite small and there had been some major erosion from recent storms but the house itself was great. Only complaint is there was no ice maker and we had to run to buy ice several times. We would stay again.

House is extremely well stocked with anything you might need! We had a few minor issues/questions upon check-in and the owner (Kyle) was very responsive and proactive. We had 6 teenagers and this was the perfect location with the park/fishing pier/ice cream store across the street. Would highly recommend this house and the owner!

This property is fantastic. So many little things provided like coffee filters, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, well equipped kitchen, etc. Kyle was the best host I have ever encountered with a VRBO property. He answered every inquiry within minutes. And his replies were very clear and concise. We loved the house and its location. And Kyle was the icing on the cake.

Communication with the host was fantastic. We arrived early and he was very accomodating, allowing us to park at the house to hit the beach while it was being cleaned. By no fault of the host, there was an AC failure the firat day but he was prompt calling out an emergency HVAC service to get it fixed right away. We did a small amount of extra bathroom cleaning, if we didnt have so many small children (8) we probably could have lived with it. Overall our group of 16 was very happy with the house and very appreciative of the host being accessible! We would stay again!

I stayed in this house with my whole family which included a wide range of ages. It was absolutely perfect for everyone. The house was clean and exactly as described and we were all impressed with how well stocked (especially the kitchen) the house was to ensure we didn’t need anything while we were there. The location is wonderful, we loved having a private beach that was a bit more quiet. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again!
