Beach Block, 1st Fl Weekends avail/driveway for 2-3 cars

This property is in a great location, but smaller than I realized. The air was very, very musty when we first arrived; and, I had to open all the windows for a couple of hours to get it aired out. It set my allergies off. While we were there, a Nor'easter came, so we had to leave a day early due to the threat of moderate to major flooding. The owner never reached out to us about our safety and potential for flooding during the storm. There was not much in the way of papertowels, toilet paper, napkins, etc. However, we had a good time for the time that we were there.

Excellent property just a block from the beach. Check in process was easy, with the keyless entry a breeze. We also appreciated the beach items provided such as chairs, toys and umbrella.

We had an excellent stay! The house was incredibly clean and nice. It is in an excellent location close to the beach. Host was very responsive. Thank you!

Basic stay, unfair fees and poor hospitalityThis property offers basic accommodation while placing many burdens on guests. Guests are required to bring essentials like toilet paper, trash bags, towels, and bedding. We had to pay a security deposit and purchase a Damage Protection Plan insurance.The place matches the pictures and was clean. However, the mattresses had thin plastic covers that made sleep uncomfortable, you can hear the family upstairs in the mornings, and the bathroom has a flood warning device near the shower that went off one night and woke the entire building during a shower.The main issue was checkout. The rules required us to load the dishwasher and run a cycle before leaving, but we couldn't find dishwasher soap. I hand-washed dishes and left them drying, but the cleaner still confronted us about six glasses left in the sink, garbage bags not carried downstairs (which we immediately took down when reminded), and the beds being left “undone.” We had already stripped the bedding and placed blankets on the beds to be washed, but it appeared we were expected to fully make the beds. The house was otherwise left in good condition, but the owner charged us an “extra cleaning” fee. Be prepared to bring nearly everything, pay deposits and insurance, and leave the house in hotel-ready condition to avoid extra charges. While the location near the beach is convenient, the lack of hospitality and he way we were treated at the end made it a disappointing stay.

We had a great time and were pleasantly surprised by how close everything was. The atmosphere was very relaxed and peaceful. We will definitely be back and plan to make this a yearly tradition. The only complaint we had was that we couldn’t sit outside because it was really hot. It would have been nice to have an awning to escape the sun's beams. I highly recommend this place!

Great location. Really nice condo with a ton of room for 3 people. Only downside was the kiddo upstairs jumping up and down at 6 am.

We have stayed at this property, both first and second floors several times and each experience has been great, this time was no exception! Fantastic hosts, the property is always pristine and is very well stocked. We love the closeness to the beach (for when we visit in warmer months) and how you can just about walk everywhere. We are already booked for the fall!

Close to the beach and restaurants. Easy check in and easy to clean.

Have stayed here multiple times now and already have future reservations. House is equipped with everything you need and is in a great location to the beach and shops! Highly recommend

This house is a great location! It’s an easy walk to the beach and to the center of town. The place was clean and the owners were very attentive. The only bad thing is that the apartment upstairs is flipped in layout, so the back bedrooms are under the upstairs kitchen and can be loud if people are stomping around.

The property is small with basic furnishings. Nonetheless, it pretty much has everything you need for a week at the beach. You simply cannot argue with the location. The storage for our beach supplies, provided beach supplies, outdoor shower, foot wash, hose, broom, and (again) the location are optimal. The proximity to beach access and the short walk to Washington Street Mall make this a property worth considering for any family/group that fits in the space. The weather did not cooperate during our week stay so, at times, the rental felt cramped for our family of four. The kitchen has very limited counterspace, but it was adequate for our purposes. The twin bedroom is VERY small and the trundle is really just a thin mattress in a drawer that fits under the bed. Probably adequate for a child, but really not usable for an adult. The other two rooms are fine. The furniture on the front porch is iron which was fine, but it is not what was depicted in the photographs which we thought may have been a bit more comfortable. Owner was very responsive to messages and accommodating to our requests.
