Stayed Jul 14, 2018We have a family of 12, ages toddler to adult, and finding a home to accommodate the sleeping and gathering needs is uppermost on the list of must-haves. Actually, we said 'if the little ones are happy, then everyone is happy!' And they were VERY happy :) This home is easy to love as you walk in through the grand front entrance, looking beyond the spacious family room out to the beautifully landscaped yard and pool and expansive, fenced backyard that includes a great play space. The interior throughout is well appointed with the care and eye of an interior designer. We especially loved the kitchen that has several prep areas and included a grand banquet table that we used throughout the day and ended with our family 'game nite' gathering. The home is close enough to Cape May Point for a quick car ride to the beach. If you like bikes, which were enjoyed immensely by a couple in our group, it's an easy ride to sightsee and travel to town and around. There are plenty of restaurants to enjoy; one to remember is Beach Plum Farm for breakfast and also their Beach Plum Bakery & Cafe for that so very delicious cup of coffee and homemade chai tea - the best! (It's attached to a great variety of boutique shops called West End Garage housed under the same roof -bonus!). The homeowners, Debbie and Shaun, are wonderful. They were always at the ready with answers, information and help when needed. They completed the perfect family vacation. It is such a beautiful place, you'll love it, Ken and Anne

Stayed Dec 31, 1969AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! We rented this house for our family to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. There were 10 adults and 5 children ages 3-9. This house is everything you see on the internet plus more. Debbie and Shawn are the most caring, considerate people. They can't do enough to make your stay as memorable as possible. The house is absolutely magnificent and immaculate. The design of the house gave everyone the space they needed. The kitchen and outdoor kitchen is absolutely spectacular. The kitchen is fully equipped, right down to the ice machine. We spent a lot of time cooking and hanging out and no one felt crowded. Our family really enjoyed the beautiful pool and the spacious manicured yard where many games were played. Everything is very close, supermarket, liquor store, beach, etc. We have looked at many houses and non have compared to this. Our family will share memories of this vacation forever. This is truly the perfect rental home.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The property had a great first impression which was verified as we went through the rental week. The house was clean and very well decorated for the Easter holiday. The front and back yards were well maintained and inviting for outdoor games.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We have rented this beautiful home twice so far for a cookie decorating retreat. The home is suitable for many guests, always spotlessly clean, the gourmet kitchen is well appointed with everything you need and the owner is amazing to work with. We all have such a great time that we can't wait for our next trip to what the gals now call The Cape May Mansion! You won't be disappointed!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Just returned home from Debbie's beautiful home after spending a wonderful week with the family to celebrate a milestone. The pictures do not do the actual home justice! Everyone, from the little ones thrilled with the play room, outdoor play area and of course, the pool was just awed by the beauty and hospitable atmosphere of the home and thoroughly enjoyed their stays. Days at the beach, evenings at the pool; touring the local wineries and brew stops were great. The beauty and history of Cape May, just perfect. Would recommend this home for anyone who wants to visit this area but wants the luxury of such a perfect home. Can't wait for our next gathering! Thanks to Debbie for all the extra homey touches!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969...even if you have high expectations from the pics. Debbie is a pro and has thought of just about everything, and she aims to please, is very responsive. Our family reunion was a huge success in large part due to this great facility. I don't do recommendations, but I'm making an exception for an exceptional experience. :)

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Wow--just wow. My wife and I rented this home to host friends and family for a vow renewal. This home provided the perfect layout for people to be spread out enough that people were comfortable in their own space but could gather for dinner, games, or lounging at a moments notice. The driveway fit everyone's car with ease and the backyard was a well laid out oasis. The speaker system throughout the house was an excellent touch. We also made great use of the porch space and the sound of the waterfalls near the pool is very tranquil. We spent most of our time in the kitchen. Feeding 16 people each day can be rough. But with two ovens, two dishwashers, pot filler faucet, two sinks, enormous stove, and three refrigerators (definitely needed all three plus the freezer in the garage) we had no trouble. The cabinets are filled with dishes, plates, cookie trays, platters, and every utensil and appliance you could imagine (you know something is well stocked when you see a utensil designed specifically to slice avocados). We stayed in October. I cannot even fathom what this house must be like when it is warmer and you spend all day/night outside on the downstairs porch or the upstairs balcony. The stars are so clear at night in Cape May and being from the Washington, DC area--we don't get to see the night sky in that way very often. This area of Cape May itself is quiet. This makes sense given that it is a neighborhood where people live throughout the year. Did I ever see a neighbor? On 2 acres worth of land, I couldn't find a neighbor even if I waited outside for one. We had no trouble driving the couple of minutes to the beach to visit Congress Hall, the Victorian homes/estates, as well as the Washington Street mall (for the love of God go visit the Cape May Peanut Butter company--I didn't know I cared so much about peanut butter I tried some). Debbie was extraordinary. She was responsive and thorough and even had a binder ready on the counter with all of the questions we could ever ask before we even thought of them. Thank you for helping us host a wonderful adventure!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My family and I stayed here in early September, and the previous review is correct; you don't ever have to leave. It is as complete as a resort! There were 9 adults and two toddlers in our party. The exterior is just as pictured. Beautiful, large heated pool with lots of area to lounge away the day; in the shade or in the sun. We enjoyed the full outside kitchen complete with everything you need to make a big meal. Plenty of seating for all; remote control screens ; whole house stereo and even a TV outside. The children loved the play area with its slides, swings and much more, including a safe, soft ground cover. The inside is just as wonderful. The rooms are very large and beautifully appointed. Gourmet kitchen with plenty of coffee pots, refrigerators, and appliances. We watched the first NFL game together on the large, comfy couches. After the game, we all played some billiards upstairs. My family re-discovered our love of puzzles here. The house is located close enough to everything. The twenty-somethings rode bicycles into town several times. There are plenty of beach tags, beach towels, and beach chairs. Debbie is a very attentive owner who answered every question promptly and took care of every need we had, no matter how small. She was very professional and also very considerate. Make some memories in this great house with your family. I promise you will be glad you did.
