Beach Basket - Crystal Beach, Private Pool, Movie Theater, Basketball Court!

Let me begin by saying that I didn't contact Ocean Reef management directly. Why? I didn't contact them because others before me complained about some of the same issues I had and nothing has been done. The deadbolt on the front door? Still doesn't work. Dirty floors? Still dirty. Toilet in downstairs master runs 24/7. Don't sit on the living room furniture. It all reeks of urine and is seriously outdated. Only one smart TV in the place. We had to buy Roku sticks for watching anything other than the one available channel. Patio furniture is literally falling apart. Dryer takes 3-4 cycles to dry and the washer reeks of mold/mildew and sounds like a fighter jet when it is running. Ice maker makes ice, but won't dispense it. If you like FIRM beds, this house has you covered. Grill was nice. Location was great. I wish I had more positives to report. I feel like I was robbed of nearly 4000.

Great getaway for the family. The house the was big enough for our large family and the location was good.

The space of the house was great. Upon entering the house wasn’t deep cleaned. Sand on the floor. Which we understand - you are at the beach. But tables and counters were dusty. We did find a few bugs in the bunk bed sheets. We had to wash everything. Dryer took very long time to wash. The sink in kitchen backed up on the second day. They did send maintenance but it never worked even after being told it was fixed. The dish washer smelled like absolute sewage. The pool was nice. The yard guy came one day and blew all kinds of debris into the pool and left. The outdoor furniture is all falling apart.

We booked this 6 bedroom property because we had 6 families attending our vacation. Cleanliness upon arriving was not spectacular, sand all over the floors, hair in the tubs/showers, cigarette butts around the outside of the pool area. We arrived Saturday evening and contacted management about the issues. While attempting to settle in for the evening, we realized one of the beds was broken and unusable, and several TV’s were missing remotes or didn’t works, we contacted management Sunday morning. Someone came on Sunday, and the issues were explained to him, but he left and didn’t fix anything. On Monday someone else arrived and fixed the TV’s, but stated he didn’t know anything about the bed. Finally, on Tuesday afternoon someone came by and fixed the bed, making us unable ti use one of the bedrooms for 3 nights. The pool chemicals were very strong on the first day, but by the 4th day, the pools was cloudy and dirty. No one arrived to service it or check the chemicals.The kitchen was missing a lot of supplies, for a house this big, it had only 2 regular glasses in the cabinet. Oh, and we found out it had no oven mitts or anyway to take a hot item out of the oven after we had an oven full of hot items. Overall, while you understand things can happen, having to deal with daily issues in the place you rented while on vacation doesn’t make for a very fun trip.

Pros•Location of the house is nice and provides easy access to the beach•The house is spacious, offering ample room for a large group or family.•Bathrooms in each of the bedrooms•Basketball Court was perfect for sports enthusiasts.•The heated pool is a wonderful feature, allowing for swimming regardless of the weather.Cons:•Lack of Maintenance and Upkeep: The house shows signs of neglect, with several areas needing attention.oAC Issues: The air conditioning went out during our stay, making it uncomfortable, especially in warmer weather.oPool railing is broken which may be a safety issue for many.oDishwasher Problems: The dishwasher does not work well, making cleaning up after meals a hassle.oBroken Window: Upon arrival, we noticed an outside window was broken•Worn Furniture:oThe furniture in the family room is worn and needs to be replaced oThe outdoor furniture is falling apart. Several of the chairs are so worn they were unusable.•Lack of basic kitchen amenities: We understand it is not set-up for gourmet cooking, however, it is lacking basic items such as cookie sheet, spatula or potholders. •The general feel of the house suggests that the owners do not prioritize maintenance, leading to a less enjoyable experience.

The Beach Basket property was really nice & roomy. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out & have their own space. The basketball court & movie theater room provided lots of entertainment for the kids. The pool was nice but the weather a bit too cool for us to swim much. There were a few things I felt that the property could have had on hand, such as pot holders for getting pans out of the oven, kitchen dish rags & batteries for the remotes. Although the Ocean Reef staff was great to bring us some batteries & trouble shoot the projector screen after we arrived. The location of the property was only a few blocks to the beach, which was really nice! Overall, a great Christmas vacation!

Decided to stay here with family for our last summer vacation before school. We absolutely enjoyed this place. Beautiful property with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms which was a plus!! Also had a washer and dryer which was very convenient. Only thing that sucked was that 1 of the basketball goals was broken. Also, many of the tv remotes were missing backs and batteries. Pool was also dirty when we arrived but pool guy came by with no problem. Overall, place was awesome. Highly recommend.

House was situated perfectly. Just a short walk to the beach. Everyone in our group had their own space because, of the size of the house, each room had it's own bathroom. The deciding factor for us was the pool, the outside space was big enough for everyone to have enough room to play and swim. Loved the theater room to relax with a movie after long day at the beach or shopping. Will definitely book again when I am in the area.

We did not have pool chairs as shown in advertising, Extremely uncomfortable furniture except the beds(perfect), outdoor and indoor furniture needs updating.
