Had a great stay! Nice property.
Overall we had a nice stay. Loved the location - did lots of biking, checked out local beaches, played at playgrounds, boat launch is very close, fish cleaning station near launch is amazing! Went bowling uptown, higt up Cedar Point a couple times. Some storms rolled through
This house was perfect for our family. Sunroom for morning coffee and reading, game room for everyone, functional kitchen for home cooked meals, beds were reasonably comfortable, in the heart of it all with access to all of the fun we wanted to have, and access to a private beach as the cherry on top.
We had a nice time staying here. Game area was a huge hit with the kids. We were unaware of the 4 night minimum stay; could have been a miss on our part.
Our paddleboarding group decided to stay here for Memorial Day weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Eric was such an amazing host, we even met him on the beach the last morning of our stay! He was great in keeping me informed on certain things about the property and made the whole process super smooth. His wife has decorated the place perfectly for those who love the lake! They truly thought of everything in that home- from the moments we were like “oh shoot we forgot something” we found it for our convenience in the home. It was the perfect stay and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone. I hope to stay again soon! :) thanks again!
Beds are not good
We really enjoyed our stay. This is a great place, with lots of room, quiet neighborhood, clean and comfortable. We all highly recommend this place. The owners were excellent communicators.
House had the right blend of upstairs and downstairs sleeping quarters for the 6 people in my party, plus good spaces to hang out. Kitchen was well-organized for managing breakfasts and leftovers for the weekend. Saturday evening we were able to split out those who wanted peace and quiet (left 3 at the house) while the rest of us went to Cedar Point for a few hours on Halloweekend.
A-1
Very clean, well-stocked home with entertainment for all age groups. Our tween and teens enjoyed the game room, especially darts (!). The space was comfortable for 7 of us, even though the common areas aren’t huge rooms. The layout helps create spaces for everyone. The grandparents took walks twice a day and had their morning coffee at the community beach, but we drove less than 10 minutes to Nickel Plate Beach for family beach days. Stores and restaurants are all a short drive. Might suggest some window treatments for the wonderful sun room, as it gets pretty warm in the afternoon, as well as another TV. My kids took over the one in the TV room with their video games. They are too big to hang out where the smaller TV is in the play area upstairs. Excellent communication with Eric and Kathleen before our arrival. Highly recommend!!
This property is fantastic. Excellent location. Very short drive to Cedar Point. House is very clean and decorated and updated. Kitchen has absolutely everything you could possibly need. Plenty of space for everyone. We had a group of family and friends of 9. 3 adults 5 teens and a 10 year old. Everyone had their own comfortable bed (beds were extremely comfortable). The darts game kept kids busy for hours. Air hockey, wii, and Foosball were great to have. 1/2 block walk to the lake was icing on the cake. We spent so much time swimming and collecting rocks. Perfect escape in every way. Host was fast with communication! I will book here again for our next trip! Highly recommend.
This place was everything we could of ask for. Absolutely beautiful. The house was clean and had every and more then we needed.
The property was extremely nice with easy access to Lake Erie and surrounding attractions. Highly recommended.
The property is exactly as shown/described. Plenty of space and things to do, close to the lake and little beach. There are plenty of little notes and instructions for things you might have questions for, and Eric was super quick to respond when we needed anything.
The property was exactly as advertised. Everything was very clean and well stocked with everything needed for the stay. We spent a lot of time enjoying the new sun room. The property is close to restaurants and other attractions. The only complaint is that the beds were not very comfortable other than that everything was great.
Eric went way above and beyond to make sure my family and I were comfortable. One key example is how he came out and cleaned away all the midges (common to Lake Erie around this time of year) that showed up one morning. My kids and wife were afraid when they first saw them all over the outside of the house and car but him coming out completely put their minds at ease. I highly recommend this rental property to anyone looking for a nice stay. In particular my kids loved the game room and sun room.
We needed a place to stay during a baseball tournament and this was the perfect location for our family. It was great for those who wanted to watch games or who just wanted to relax at the house or at the beach. Sports Force complex is about 4 miles down the road and super easy to get to. We also enjoyed a short walk to the beach every day with beautiful views of Lake Erie. The house was clean and had plenty of space and bedrooms to accommodate our family. Even toys, crib and highchair for the baby. The new sunroom addition was so enjoyable to relax with a cup of coffee. Harbor House Bar and Grill is close and an excellent place to eat outside on the water. Huron is a cute and quaint little town.
The house worked out great for our stay for our large party:)
Came up for Ohio Bike week, house was an awesome place in a great neighborhood
