Stayed Oct 18, 2024We stayed here in mid-October, so we missed the inevitable summer vacation crowds. The town and the lake were quiet and charming. The house was clean as a whistle and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well-equipped and fun to cook in; people can sit at the bar and chat while meals are being prepared. The deck off the living room and the nice patio behind the house offer outside gathering areas. The bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. My cousin and I — both in our 70s — loved this little getaway cottage!

Stayed Sep 13, 2024Kitchen was very well stocked, which we loved because we prefer to cook. The house was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. Nice quiet neighborhood but close to the lake. My only suggestion would be new mattresses for 2 of the bedrooms. The master bedroom mattress was fine but the other queen mattress and twin need replaced. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Jun 1, 2024We had a lovely time at this home! It was close to the lake and just up the street from the Tiki bar ? There was plenty of room for us four adults, a lot of sitting areas inside and out. The updates in the house are nice and it was stocked with all necessary kitchen and bath items! The beds were not great for us. I know that’s a personal preference. I would return if beds were better.

Stayed Sep 14, 2023Very pleasant. Only complaint, for two adult couples, is that one of the queen mattreses is awful and needs to be replaced. After experiencing first night, a 6'4 guest chose to sleep in the tiny third bedroom single bed, instead. Only item that keeps me from giving the stay five stars.

Stayed Aug 29, 2023This is a well maintained clean property. Feels newly remodeled. Well equipped large kitchen with 2 outdoor entertainment areas. Walking distance to the marina and PM Park. A 3 mile drive to downtown Clear Lake. Clear Lake is a wonderful resort town. Plenty of dining, sightseeing and recreation options. Highly recommend this property, and Clear Lake for a destination.

Stayed Jul 7, 2023We enjoyed our stay at Bayside Cottage where we were able to have a relaxing visit and spend quality time with family. The pictures actual don’t do the home justice as it’s is even better in person! This home had everything we needed for our stay. The grill was great as we grilled hamburgers and steaks. The cottage is decorated well and very clean. It was safe for an 18 month old and for the 80 plus yr old great grandparents to come visit. It is within walking distance to the lake and ice cream shop. Very convenient to convenient and grocery stores. The hosts even left us a welcome basket and toiletries if they were needed.
