Stayed Apr 21, 2025Clean, attractive, and comfortable home. We spent a lot of time on the screened porch and fishing on the pier. The fenced backyard was a big plus

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We have been coming to Rockport for many years with our extended family. This rental was by far the best we have had. It was very spacious and comfortable. This was our first time staying in the Copano Bay area and we were so glad we stayed here. Having the dock just outside the back door was the best for our grandchildren. They thoroughly enjoyed the fishing! We will stay here again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Have been staying on Copano Bay for Years. This home never fails. Great 1 story home with 3/4 fenced yard perfect for your canine family. Good fishing and crabbing under the green lights. Home is well appointed with everything you need and well equipped kitchen to boot. Convenient all points of interest in the Coastal Bend area.

Stayed Apr 5, 2024It was a rocky start dealing with Vacasa but it all got worked out. The home is beautiful and very clean in a quiet neighborhood. Sits on the water for fishing but unfortunately not good fishing like the reviews claimed. Also the fish cleaning station at the house we couldn’t figure out how to turn the water on and when I messaged Vacasa to figure it out it took them a while to get back to me and it was too late to use it by then. But Fulton pier wasn’t very far away so we fished there. The information on their WiFi didn’t work which is normally no big deal cause we don’t let our kids have electronics on vacation but we said they could at one point but we never got the password to work. We were glad they let us bring our service dog.

Stayed Mar 18, 2024First, yes. The home was very clean and well appointed. And if you fish, this is a haven. However, we almost didn't get in. The lock code did not work, and when I called management, the woman gave me a couple of other codes that did not work. After a false start, I finally figured out where lockbox was but had a hard time getting it open to get the house key. Then we found that the key and door lock do not play well together. The door hardware actually turns in a circle and we had to work with it a while (each time) to get it in a position where it will let the key engage the lock to open or lock. Someone should look into this. Also, if you have a dog (we took our two), you still have to keep them on a leash in the backyard, because 1. there's a hole in the fence 2. the fence stops at the seawall edge and there is rock just below allowing a dog to jump down and take off down the seawall. A bummer, because we chose this place precisely so we could let the dogs on leash while we sat on the porch. One last thing, there are about 16-20 wall switches in the combo living/kitchen/dinning areas and none are labeled. Those should be labeled as it can take a while to figure out how to turn things on/off. On the other (better) hand, the house was nice and roomy. The master bed (where we slept) was comfortable. The back porch was very nice with plenty of furniture and it has a nice pier with a bench. And the neighborhood was nice and safe.

Stayed Sep 8, 2023This was a great location, and we had tons of fun fishing from the deck right out back. The house and kitchen were well-appointed, but you do need to bring your own Keurig pods (which is fine). The kitchen does have a crock pot and toaster with plenty of pots, pans, bowls, etc. The house is close to the restaurants. Overall, an awesome place to hang out in Rockport TX.
