Great property. Great views. Well water not for city folk.
The Forest Bay apartment is a great 2 bed room, with a great view, very nice amenities, and good access to Sequim and Port Townsend, Washington
This place has a beautiful view, it was very quiet until owners were home, so got a couple good days in. Led lights were a bit harsh, remote heating cooling system was pretty neat. Would be a great place for summer kayaking on the bay. If you are looking for a cozy place to retreat I would definitely consider something else. Great deal for the price. The goodwill laundry basket was a little odd…. The designated parking spaces are at the bottom of the hill , so if you need disability accommodations park in front of the garage apparently, this was not totally clear. Vacasa customer service is top notch.
Beautiful views loved the beach area and relatively close to everything
I do have to say it was a beautiful view, place was clean but a bit stark. We found the water tasted and smelled fine. We arrived after dark so the parking located halfway down the steep drive was a bit inconvenient as my husband has an ankle injury. Our main issue was that you can’t enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise. Not unless you drive 5 miles to the closest gas station or pack your own kcups. There was a basket with a single coffee pod and a can of regular grounds - no regular coffee maker and no pods sold locally. I verified with the property manager and the responses were “Yes, there is only a Kureig, please let us know if you need help in anything.” & when I asked why only a single coffee pod for 4 guests and 2 nights “I am so sorry about this, but we are unable to provide it, as this is an in-home supply we do not provide”. Definitely be aware if you plan to wake up and enjoy that liquid caffeine bliss looking over the water, it can start your day off on the wrong foot for sure. Pack your pods folks!
The view is great, and the apartment is good in a basic way, but feels more like a residential hotel than a vacation home and lacks the kind of practical touches that you often find in a place rented by owners. For example, a property on well water with a moderate sulphur smell should provide bottled water for cooking and drinking. The kitchen is moderately equipped. A good home base if you are planning to be out and about a lot, but not a cozy place to hang out.
It was was great stay. As city folk we were not used to the well water but the accommodations and the view more than made up for it. Would come back tomorrow.
The apartment is exactly as described. Clean, quiet, comfortable. It is a great base point to explore nearby places. Only negatives: there is nothing within walking distance (Port Townsend is an easy 20 minutes away though!), beach is under construction. This didn’t affect our opinion - it was a quiet place to rest and recharge. Really enjoyed the space.
Our stay was everything we were looking for. It’s such a beautiful & peaceful property. It made for a perfect launching point for our Olympic park hikes & to explore the area.
We had a great experience at our property. Loved the rural area and beauty. Special items from the host was nice and the property was clean and updated. We enjoyed our stay!
Secluded and quiet. A wonderful retreat. Perfect for relaxing and recharging. Comfortably and tastefully furnished. Especially liked the access to the sound.
This elegant VRBO is pretty far from Port Townsend but peaceful and quiet with beautiful water views. Since we were visiting several islands and beaches it turned out to be a relaxing place to return to at the end of the day. It was extremely clean and well organized. I only wish there were proper wine glasses, a corkscrew and a large bowl for serving salad. Also, the twin bedroom door doesn’t close easily and is hard to open. Otherwise the apartment was lovely and I would definitely return!
This rental worked out great for our long weekend near Port Townsend. The view is outstanding and the location was quiet. I would only add a comfy blanket for the couch and a spatula for the kitchen.
Apartment, grounds and the view were wonderful. The location was wonderful as well. Great stay.
Lovely views, clean and comfortable small 2 bedroom. Additional bonus was the artwork of the owner, a world renowned photographer and artist. Also, a small private area to sit and look at Discovery Bay. 7 miles from Pt Townsend but an easy, traffic free ride to town. Pt Townsend is great to visit.
The home was beautiful, clean, stocked well and in a good location. Beautiful and peaceful view. Easy to find. Would have been nice if the beach access was marked clearly.
This rental is part of a gorgeous house. It’s easy to get to and has an amazing view of the water even from all windows of the downstairs apartment rental unit. The entire space is so well organized and labeled that it feels like a clean hotel room embedded in a private cabin. It’s immaculate with cozy beds, extra bedding, a great TV, a kitchen with all of the basic essentials and a little porch to enjoy a meal. One note: there is no BBQ option so be ready to cook in the kitchen only. This makes sense for safety as the unit is part of a grand master house. This property is clearly very well maintained and loved by the owner. We had two very comfortable nights here and would definitely come again!
