Baydream: Stunning Bayfront Home, Pet-Friendly, Hot Tub, Sleeps 12

Beautiful home with stunning Sunsets! Super quiet gated neighborhood made for a peaceful vacation for all of us!This home was exactly as depicted on VRBO and I have to give Cape and Coast Rentals a big thank you for all the communications that they provided to us before and after our visit. They seem to be a great group!

Beautiful spotless and nicely furnished house in great neighborhood. WiFi very weak in main house, non existent in mother-in-law suite. Poor lighting in back of house making it difficult to use grill after dark and making it unsafe to use stairs in back of house after dark. Kitchen has everything even a gourmet chef would need. Extra Downstairs frig was bonus. Wish the amenity list was more accurate so we didn’t bring bulky items such as beach wagon that was already at rental house. Mother-in-law apartment smelled like smoker had stayed there and lack of blinds at apartment door entrance did not allow for privacy.

We had ants in the master bedroom. The internet was slow and the cable did not work at any point during our stay.

House and description were on point! Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space or be together. House was equipped with all the necessary items, never thought “I wish the house had this…” The elevator came in handy as one of our family members was in a serious accident prior to the vacation. There is quite a bit of construction in the private gated community; it wasn’t noisy but took away from the beauty of the area. House could use some more detailed cleaning/refresh (ceiling lights dusted, lightbulbs replaced, weeding around the house and back patios). Community pool is very small and deepest area was 4 foot, it wasn’t busy and worked for us when we needed a change from the beach. Public gulf beaches are a short drive away - 10 min to Mexico Beach or 30 min to Cape San Blas. House had a beautiful view of the bay and we took advantage of it - lots of fishing and paddle boarding just out the back door.

This was our second time at Baydream and it was another perfect week. The house accommodated 4 adults, 1 teenager, and 2 little ones, along with a fur baby, with room to spare. Super clean and location is fantastic. Plenty of kitchen supplies and small appliances. The neighborhood is quiet and full-time residents are friendly. Walking trail that ends close to the pool was great. The hot tub was used everyday and was nice to have when bay waters were rough or chilly. We rent kayaks and SUP and are able to access the bay easily. We plan to return again. This place is perfect! Thanks again!

This house exceeded all expectations! Our family of 7 visited the gulf coast for the very first time on a lark for Christmas. We didn’t know what to expect, but were open to a new experience. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we had to be dragged out, we felt comfortable and at home. There aren’t enough adjectives to describe how wonderful this house is - to its cozy bedding, its well-appointed kitchen, or to its priceless views - this house has everything. We wanted to move in permanently. Being able to kayak for a sunset paddle or fish from the dock at sunset was amazing. No detail was left undone. We would absolutely recommend Baydream - and hope to come back!

Upon arrival, the kayak, paddle board, and bicycles were delivered and waiting on us. Yes, there really is an elevator. This made moving in so much easier. The back yard was very large and my favorite thing, the fire pit, is such a fun way to end the day. Not mentioned in the description, the lower level is the ideal place to leave your fur baby while you go out and enjoy one of the great dining options. The carriage house is a bonus to the sleeping accommodations. The preteens in our group certainly enjoyed having their own space on the top floor. They had their on sofa and tv allowing them to watch tv of their choosing while the adults were watching the news on the main floor. The master bath was definitely a dream with a huge walk in shower and a spa tub. There are biting insects in the area making the screened in porch a perfect place to enjoy the landscape. I would definitely return to this dream home for a future family vacation.

It had plenty of room for multiple families; plenty of room to spread out or spend time together. We all agreed it was functional as well as beautiful. The upstairs living room was great to have a second hangout space. The back yard and little beach was great when we didn't feel like loading up to drive to the beach. There was a sandbar that was perfect for kids to play on. Lots of shells (and crabs). The pool was never crowded and an easy walk from the house. The only negatives was the amount of construction - the whole neighborhood felt like it was under construction - a constant flow of construction workers took away a little bit of the magic of the beach/house. We also had an issue with the fire alarms.. they kept going off with no fire. Luckily the company was great about sending someone how to help... the maintenance man was great (which was great because he had to come three times).
