Stayed Dec 31, 1969Very nice, quiet place centrally located to some wonderful South Dakota attractions. Great scenery from the back yard looking towards Custer state park. Saw wildlife every evening. House had everything we could possibly need. Close to Rapid city, Badlands, Custer state park, Mount Rushmore and so much more. Host Kelli stayed in good contact and gave us great recommendations for surrounding places to go and see.

Stayed Jul 7, 2025Kelli was so kind asking if we needed anything during our stay. The upstairs was welcoming and appears recently updated. The furniture was comfortable and the deck in the mornings and evenings was perfect to wind down and read and recover after going all day to the impressive parks and activities in this corner of South Dakota. We had wild turkey visitors in the mornings and evenings as well. The downstairs seemed to be work in progress. The stairs could be a tripping hazard due to the treads curling up on all edges. I would recommend this rental as an ideal home base for many activities and excursions. Thank you for sharing your home, Kelli.

Stayed Jun 30, 2025We enjoyed our stay so much. The property owner gave us the best information on what to see and where to go. The property does have cows, turkeys, which we enjoyed as we are from the city I would stay again if we decide to come again with our grandchildren.

Stayed Jun 3, 2025This house was truly a home away from home. So much character and family pictures that made the connection with the home owner very special. The house location made it super simple to navigate to all the main attractions. We couldn't have been more pleased with the house, host, and location. After a day seeing the sites we would come home and see wild turkeys in the front yard and many deer in the field behind the house. So awesome about everything. :)

Stayed Jun 20, 2024Had a great time. House is centrally located to almost anywhere you want to go, but is private and quiet. Kelli was wonderful and responded to all questions quickly. The bottom floor is mostly underground, so if it snells musty, there is a dehumidifier on the front porch. Totally fine within a few hours of running it. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area!

Stayed May 30, 2024It was completely private. And such a central location to where we had planned to visit. There were 6 adults and we had plenty of room. Our son-in-law brought his high powered binoculars and he was excited to see some deer. We awoke several mornings to turkey going through the property. We all felt very much at home.
