Barn Haven: Group Adventure Retreat near Devil's Lake State Park!

Barn Haven was perfect for our family getaway. The place was spotless and had ample pillows and blankets as Fall weather is beginning. We were close to a golf course, winery and supper club which we enjoyed. The space and yard were perfect for reconnecting both inside and out. Thank you!

Great place convenient to many local spots!

This was a great place to stay! First, about the location: The 4 of us stayed in February while we did some skiing at Cascade Mt. about 20 min away. We expect that we will be using this place to stay often in the years ahead. It is the same distance from Devil's Head. It is only about 8 or 9 minutes from Devil's Lake State Park, another place that we love in warmer weather. As far as having evening beverages or a great place to eat, the Tumble Rock Brewery is only about 5 or 6 minutes away. The Driftless Glen Brewery is about 10 minutes away, both have great food, beverages, and I believe music in the warmer weather. We went to both of these places. This location is on a very quiet rural road, but yet only minutes from these locations and the city of Baraboo if you need some shopping to do. The rental property itself is very quiet, on a rural road with very little traffic at night. We found it to be spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed as far as kitchen utensils, bowls, appliances. It had a ton of extra blankets, pillows, etc in a closet in the hallway. The bathroom was fully stocked with more than enough toiletries that we could possibly need. Giving a great review may make it harder for us to find available open weekends in the future, but it is an honest review. This is a perfect and relaxing place to stay. We even had a brief chance to run into the owner who is a very nice person.

The barn was quaint and cozy. It was very clean and had everything we need. It was quick jaunt into town or to devils lake state park.

Great property for our family to gather and enjoy the 4th of July. Lots to do in the area, hiking, wineries, boating, etc. The only complaint I would have is that when it rained on the first night we had water coming into one of the bedrooms and the living room. Got a mop and cleaned it up and sent a text to property manager. Got no response from the manager the entire stay( from Thursday til we left on Sunday)

We had a great stay. The amenities are as described, the house was clean, plenty of outdoor space, and location is close to Devil's Lake State Park and Baraboo. Highly recommend.
