Bar Harbor Serenity close to Hadley Point Beach

Kitchen absolutely stocked with anything your large party could need. They also have a small pantry with staples left by previous guests (flour, oil, sugar, etc) which was helpful to not have to purchase large quantities for our stay. Would recommend staying here.

Phenomenal location if you are taking the family and want to be close- but not in the middle of Bar Harbor's summer festivities. The local beach is just steps away and is perfect for kiddos. Our 4- and our 2-year-old loved wading in the water with the beach toys.

Loved the location, very close to Acadia National Park. Close to Hadley Point beach, which was great for morning walks and sunset viewing. Enough room for four ladies to spread out but still hang out together for evening cocktails and snacks. The kitchen was nice and had everything you could need.We did not go outside much, you would need lots of bug spray as this home is near beautiful wooded land.

Owner very responsive to messages to address any concerns you may have. Great location on quiet section of the island but still close enough to enjoy Acadia and Bar Harbor.

We had a good stay at this property. House was generally clean but in need of updates and TLC. New mattresses would be good. Property is definitely off the beaten path which was a little hard to find after dark when we arrived. We did see deer eating apples from the tree each morning which was great. We also enjoyed using the fire pit one evening. Property is a decent location to Acadia and Bar Harbor if you don’t mind driving off the main road a bit. With a party of 3 couples wanting 3 bedrooms (with queen or king beds) and 3 bathrooms, this property is unique. However, one bathroom is downstairs and the only bedroom/room downstairs has 2 twins. Some of these details weren’t readily available in the description. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking and roasting hotdogs outside and there was enough firewood available for one use. Maine in October is a great time to visit!

Lovely home with plenty of space for 11 people. Well stocked kitchen that even had some spices for cooking in the pantry. Peaceful setting just a short drive to Bar Harbor. Nearby beach that we could watch lobster fisherman as they left to haul in their catch for the day. Host was quick to respond to questions. Comfortable mattresses to sleep on however, could use some new beds. They creaked every time you rolled over. Overall, we would stay here again and would highly recommend this lovely home away from home.

Great location- 2 miles from Acadia entrance and 5 miles from Bar Harbor. House was clean, nicely furnished and well-appointed with everything we needed.

The location is very private but close to a beautiful local beach and about a 10 minute walk to the free shuttle stop. The house has a great amount of space and most everything you need. The house was acceptably clean but could use some updating and fresh paint throughout. Overall a good stay.

Very nice house. Was clean and had everything ready to go. Short drive to the Hulls Cove entrance to Acadia. Hadley point was nice to watch sunsets.

The house was fantastic. Spacious, comfortable, clean, and they really thought of everything you would need for a stay, even with a large family group with people of all ages and needs staying. It was nice and quiet, while still being in easy proximity to Bar Harbor & Acadia attractions. Genuinely delightful.

Exactly what was described. Clean, spacious, comfortable. Beautiful surroundings. Close enough to the bus stop at the campground to walk yet of the beaten path & away from the crowds. Highly recommend

Good size and well equipped kitchen. We needed every one of the bedrooms for our large extended family. Reasonably close to all Desert Island and Acadia Park attractions. Driveway is a little rough and just 4 bedroom window A/C units is the barebones minimum in hot weather.

This was a great find on Mt Desert Island, giving us lots of access options for Acadia and the rest of the island. Our favorite part was probably the location, which was right up the road from the water and had lots of options to go for walks as a family on quiet back roads.Bedrooms were large and three bathrooms ensured our party of eight adults and one toddler were not on top of each other the whole time. The kitchen was well stocked for all our cooking needs. The beds were not the most comfortable but in the scheme of everything, the house was great!

This place was perfect for our family vacation. 10 minutes from Acadia, private, clean. Provided plenty of everything (towels, cookware, cleaning supplies). We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed 4 nights at this awesome home with convenient access to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Plenty of room and very quiet location. The kitchen was very well appointed with modern cookware and plenty of dishes, etc. The bedrooms were quiet and very comfortable. Bonus; we has an awesome viewing of the Northern Lights! The property manager was very responsive to questions as well. I would definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area!

Would definitely consider this home again if we make plans to return
