Bamboo Haus, Waterfront Access to Guadalupe River

Check-in was a breeze and the house had comfortable couches. It does not have central air, but the window units seem to keep it cool enough. I wish the outside patio had a table and was enclosed with A/C. It would have been nice to sit out there and watch the boats racing down the waterway. I would defintely not put a kayak in the water as the boat traffic was insane.

Our family definitely enjoyed this cute little house by the river! Will definitely come back to this spot soon!

Our grandchildren enjoyed the stay! The house smelled and looked pristine inside, river view was beautiful. The yard was nicely trimmed! We played family baseball. The hot tub was a hit. Although it’s outdated it served its purpose. I didn’t do my research on the location so I was taken aback. But once we were there and walked the property felt totally better. We enjoyed our very peaceful getaway. Would stay again.

We throughly enjoyed our stay for Father’s Day weekend! A couple families went, and while the house isn’t the most modern, it was perfect for what we needed. We had plenty of room to sleep everyone, it was great to get out and explore and the kids really enjoyed all the play equipment.

We all enjoyed our stay. It was so relaxing sitting outside just listening to the rustling of all the trees on the property. We did a little fishing so that was fun. My husband was in love with the grill. My daughter did not want to get off the merry go round. The house was quite cozy and we enjoyed relaxing and watching movies at night. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook since we did not want to go out to eat. We all did not want to leave. We hope to be able to come back soon. We did not get to go to the pool since it got a bit chilly on our second day but that was ok. Thank you for a great weekend!

House was exceptionally clean and a/c blows cold. Greenery and back area are good for the soul. We enjoyed the pool and kayaking during our stay.

The property was so peaceful - perfect for our weekend! Tom was very informative and the welcome book on the coffee table helped us throughout our time. Thanks for setting the perfect environment for our small get together!

Pics online showed water front and access. Was little disappointed having to walk to boat ramp to fish and all. Grass was tall on property and by water could’ve been cut down and mowed.
