Stayed Dec 11, 2025My family came in to town for the Army/Navy football game. This home was perfect! We found it to be very clean and welcoming. The best part was its location. We were able to walk to restaurants and even the stadium! We especially liked AJ's on Hanover for dinner/drinks and Spoons for brunch. We walked to the Inner Harbor's Christmas Village. The house is so centrally located. The parking pass was a big help but we did have a second car that we parked at the West St Garage for a reasonable fee. I would highly recommend this home!

Stayed May 15, 2025This is a nice property, however not good for elderly guests. The skinny winding staircase was difficult to navigate. In addition the front steps coming into the house do not have rails & the stairs are uneven and loose.

Stayed Mar 29, 2025Grateful for a well stocked kitchen (spices, dishes, pots/pans, k-cups)! The size of living room was great for the group. Maybe I missed it in the listing, but I didn’t realize none of the bedrooms had an en-suite bathroom, so no true master bedroom. Hard to regulate temperature in the old house but ended up being okay/no major issues. Noticed they had carpeted flooring over at least one vent in a bedroom. The towels are very small and no extras based on number of people. Besides that it really was a good spot. Beds were comfortable, though frames are loud. Parking pass was very helpful - plan to pay for a garage a decent walk away if you have more than one vehicle.

Stayed Sep 1, 2023There were a few issues when we arrived but our host, Briana, responded immediately and resolved them while we toured the city. She was also very helpful in other ways so we had a great stay there and enjoyed the Baltimore Harbor area for the holiday weekend.

Stayed Jul 27, 2023Our stay was wonderful in Baltimore and this VRBO was in a perfect location. Fed Hill was safe, quiet and had everything you need. The layout of the apartment was perfect. The only issue was the cleanliness (including a paint job), the decor & the towels provided (not enough and not big enough for an adult)

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed at the house while in town for a wedding. There were 4 adults and 2 young kids. Pros: great space- roomy living room, comfortable couch, spacious kitchen, large bedrooms. The location was good, very walkable. I'd seen reviews about the parking situation being bad, but the host had obtained a parking permit and we didn't have a problem- the permit allowed us to park right in front of the house. The fans in the bedrooms were appreciated. Also, the on the ground host was great, she was very responsive and accommodating with check-in/check-out. Cons: The house needs a deep clean. It was superficially clean, but it needs a cleaning where furniture is moved, cabinets scrubbed etc. The bedrooms could use new bedspreads/pillow covers. But the biggest issue was the smell, there was a sewage-like smell throughout, particularly in the first floor kitchen/bath. There's lots of potential for the house to go from ok to great with a few tweaks.

Stayed Nov 4, 2022This property was lovely as advertised. What was not as advertised was the parking situation. We were in town for a family wedding. We had luggage and family coming from many states. We brought two vehicles so we could move people from this location to the church and reception. The host describes the parking as street - first come, first serve - Parking here is non-existent. In the 3 days we were there, we were never able to park within a city block of the property. We parked along the construction fence near 145 West Ostend Street where the host suggested and BOTH of our vehicles were towed - $350 EACH to get them out - almost late for the wedding - then we parked in a parking garage on Read Street and our car was locked in for the night sometime between 9 pm and 10:30 pm - no signs or info on the ticket saying this garage closed over night! Between the towing and the forced Lyft/Ubering we spent $1000 for the privilege of visiting Baltimore with out-of-state plates. Definitely targeted. Please know, we are not newbies to city parking, We have lived and studied in many different cites. NEVER had an experience like this. Never been towed. We read all available signage. You had to run fans to drown out the mouths of the folks on the street - but even the fans didn't help with the fire truck sirens and horns. Sleeping was a struggle in the front of the house, but our guests in the back slept much better. This would be a great rental if something could be worked out for parking. I would have been willing to pay for a temporary parking pass at a nearby garage or business. Surely there is someone who wants to make a little money on the tourists besides the Baltimore Parking Authority? Maybe the Parking Authority funds could be tapped to provide more security and rodent control on the streets.- A win- win for Baltimore!

Stayed Oct 7, 2022Group of 7 in town for a crossfit competition at Howard County Fairgrounds. We had a great stay at this property. The property manager was proactive the day prior with details to help our arrival go smoothly. Place was very clean and well maintained.
