Awesome Views! Two Full-Kitchens And Relaxing Fire Pit Area!

Perfect is an understatement, we loved this house! My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at Our Point of View. Everything from the host, views, design and cleanliness made for a vacation we will remember forever. I can’t say enough about this house…it had everything needed. We are already planning our next stay. Jodi, thank you for providing amazing memories!

This was the perfect home away from home for our 3 families to celebrate Thanksgiving! The 2 full kitchens made it possible for all the Cooks to have ample space. The Host even provided an extra folding table and chairs so we could all eat together. What a blessing! We enjoyed the comfortable outdoor spaces, including the dock table, fire pit and porches with stunning views. Our families are all ready to go back to this property!

The house is all about having a great time with friends..plenty of room to hang out, beds for all, activities available, and fantastic location. We are return guests and plan to be again!

We had a fabulous family reunion vacation at Our Point of View! Having 2 kitchens was a great benefit. We had the parents with toddlers on the lower level and us mature folks on the main level so we were able to sleep a little later. We loved the close access to the dock/lake and all the paddling options. Enjoyed the fire pit and walks around the neighborhood. Did some side trips to breweries, mini golf, winery, dinner, & ice cream. We loved everything about the house and location. Would definitely book again.

The host was great to work with and prompt in communicating and answering any questions during our stay. The house was well stocked and clean. Easily accommodated our family of 14. The fire pit and boat dock/house with the kayaks and paddle boards were a hit with the kids.

We have stayed at this property for many years and love the house, very comfortable and clean. It’s many bedrooms have comfortable beds and allow for privacy when needed. The dock and lake location are perfect. This section of the lake is not very crowded with boat traffic so it’s wonderful for tubing, wake surfing, etc. We bring our boat and it docks easily there. They have lots of great paddle boards and kayaks we also use. The dock remains in the sun for the day which is perfect for those who love the sun, but also has shaded areas with fans and comfortable furniture for those who want shade. The screened in back porch is also wonderful! Morning coffee is the best there! We continue to love it and return year after year. The hosts are the BEST! Great communication and always very helpful!

We couldn’t have asked for a better house at Lake Gaston. For us, the boat house is the most important thing since that is where we spend the most time. This boat house was perfect. Comfortable furniture, great kayaks and paddle boards, shade, and a great swimming area.The house itself was very well-equipped and the beds were super comfortable. Jodie was very responsive and answered any and all questions. Don’t hesitate booking this property.

We loved our stay here. The house had everything you need. Having two separate kitchens and washing machines was very helpful for our family.

We had a great time enjoying this property! The house was so well-appointed and had everything we needed and then some. The weather was good and we took advantage of it by sitting on the dock. Great spot!

Great views, great ammenities, lots of space and privacy

Our family had a wonderful time. We loved the two sitting areas. This home had everything we needed. Very well stocked kitchen. The beds were all so comfy. We loved the fire pit too. Our grandson caught large catfish and it made his day. The older kids jumped in the lake. (per our yearly tradition). Quite chilly!!! We will be back. Our hostess was terrific. Thank you!!

Great house, great view!

My family of 14 had a wonderful stay at My Point of View. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable!! Outside there was a beautiful new fire pit and an easy walkway down to the dock. The dock was in a quiet cove and everyone enjoyed fishing off the dock. Having use of the kayaks and paddle boards was so much fun. We rented a pontoon and had a couple jet skis to enjoy on the lake. Jodie, thanks for being an amazing host and quick to respond to our questions and needs. We highly recommend this vacation home.

Our family had a great week at Our Point of View. Jodie was a great host. She was very responsive to any questions we had. We loved the boat dock and spent many hours floating and swimming in Lake Gaston. Since there was a tropical storm in the forecast for later in the week, we decided to take advantage of every good day. It turns out there was only one rainy day which we spent indoors playing game as a family. Our granddaughters loved the bunk room and jumping off the dock. We rented a boat and jet ski to take full advantage of the lake. Highly recommend 313 Franklin Kitchen in South Hill. A great experience and really good food. We also enjoyed lunch at the Shady Shack and a visit to Rosemont Winery. A great time was had by all!

Our family, eight people in three generations loved our time at Point of View Lake House. The house was great, with bedrooms and bathrooms on three levels, the best stocked kitchen we’ve experienced with a VRBO rental, and is situated only a few steps from the lake. The dock was a highlight for our grandchildren, who loved swimming near the dock in the safety of our cove. The pictures of the home are very accurate. Everyone in our family recommends Point of View.

We stayed with extended family including children aged 6 months to 13. The property was great with many kid-friendly amenities. Aside from swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding in the lake, we also especially enjoyed the fire pit and hanging out on the screened-in porch. The home had the most well-stocked kitchen of any VRBO we’ve ever rented which made cooking for the family easy. Looking forward to coming again!

Family time well spent in this beautiful vacation home. The location on the lake was perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and floating. While fish were sparse (most likely due to the beaver’s daily swim through), we loved the ability to fish with the property fishing license. The outdoor fire pit area was a beautiful spot to gather at day’s end. The screened in porch was perfect for book lounging. The home was clean and spacious for 16 people. The outdoor shower a lifesaver for our large group. Jodie was quick to respond when needed and always very polite. Highly recommend this rental not just for the property, but also because of the owners. We’ve stayed in many rentals for vacation, but Jodie was by far one of the best.

Our annual family vacation was wonderful! This house is very well stocked; games, books, closets with blankets and fans, kitchen with everything you need, outdoors with kayaks and SUPs. The owners are fantastic and so easy to communicate with. The cove is peaceful and opens up to the side of the lake the perfect size for boating and tubing!
