Beautiful cottage, realy clean very peaceful, ideal location for winchester, portsmouth and southampton

We recently stayed at the Cart house for a week, it is a beautiful property, very clean inside and so well equipped with everything we could have needed and more. A real home from home stay, the food hamper on our arrival was a lovely touch and a real treat. Vanessa and Jonathan came by to meet us on our first night, which was a lovely touch and lovely to meet them. Vanessa even went out to buy us some tomatoes as I had forgotten to bring ours, very kind of her and very much appreciated. We had a lovely stay, the only little niggle was the road noise, especially early in the morning.

We enjoyed a lovely short stay at the Cart House which we found to be superbly appointed and just what we needed. The Cart House is superbly equipped and offers excellent accommodation. We were only there for a couple of days with friends but it was a great base and suited us very well for our short visit to the area. The owners popped by to say hello and they were really friendly and very helpful. We would recommend this to anyone considering a visit to the area.

Lovely stay in a well equipped converted barn. Very clean and well presented. Lovely welcome basket full of goodies. The owners were always on hand to answer any questions.

The Cart House is a loverly barn conversion type holiday home. The views from the back patio are blissful, we even saw deer wandering through the fields. Well located for trips to Winchester, Southampton and Portsmouth. The only downsides were the car noise from the road taht runs past the property and the stylish, but uncomfortably soft sofas in the lounge.

Stunning, stylish and very comfortable house. The house was well equipped and the communication from the owners was excellent. The Welcome Hamper was a thoughtful idea too! We would definitely like to return .

There was absolutely nothing negative about this stunning property. Everything you can think of was provided by the hosts from a lovely welcome hamper to garden seating in a very spacious patio garden area. We were very lucky with the weather & so spent a lot of time sitting in the sun. If the weather hadn't been so good plenty of games were provided.Even though some of us were relatively local it was still an area with much to enjoy. Wickham nearby is a bustling village with independent & antique shops. A visit to Chesapeake Mill is a must.

The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean and well equipped. My young daughter loved the chest of toys and games. Great location, easy to find and only a short drive to Winchester and Marwell Zoo. Would certainly revisit if in the area again.

A really great, cosy & warm stay! we have everything that we need as well as some extras from the hosts to enjoy some other home comforts. We would recommend highly and we will definitely be staying again.

Very clean and well kept, well presented, had a lovely time with family. Excellent owners. Highly recommend. Only thing I would say maybe needs to be considered if you stay, is the garden has a small stream with no fencing on the side which would require a high level of supervision if you have children and they want to play outside.

Booked this due to closeness to Winchester, but very close to lots of other big towns, wish I'd booked for a week The property had everything to make you feel like you were at home, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plenty of dvds and games The welcome hamper was full of goodies. Definitely will book again

Mums weekend away has been a tradition for quite a few years for my 3 friends and I but it was our first time at the Cart House. From the welcome message and a lovely goodie basket that awaited us on arrival we were impressed with every aspect of our stay - well perhaps not the stormy weather but that just made us enjoy the coziness of the Cart House even more. The kitchen is well equipped (including cocktail shaker!), sofas were super comfy ( as were the beds) and the underfloor heating means you can leave your slippers home! We are already looking forward to coming back!

A wonderful property, well appointed and well thought out design. Well equiped kitchen and instruction manuals available for the appliances. Well thought out guest information booklet with everything you needed to know about the property. Underfloor heating welcome especially as it was cold, frosty and snowy during the stay. Pity that the property is situated beside a busy road which detracted from the wonderful property and outlook at the rear, but there is nothing the owners can do about this.

Super cottage, stocked with everything you could possibly need, very comfortable, beautifully decorated. Lovely view. Ample parking and pretty garden. Village close by, is excellent for shops etc. Location is ideal for Portsmouth, Southampton and the Downs. Had a really great holiday, thank you!

Spent a lovely week at The Cart House and really enjoyed it. The house is lovely, there is everything there that you would need for a stay and it's in a great location with some lovely pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area. Winchester and Portsmouth area only 20 mins away. Would definately go back again or recommend to someone wanting a comfortable stay in the Winchester/Portsmouth area.
