Attractive & Dog-Friendly Beachfront House w/Private W/D, AC, Free WiFi, & Patio

Restful, cozy and great location. Just what we needed

We had a wonderful time. Wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect location had everything we needed. Loved the decor. Would love to stay again. Hopefully there will be an opening. Thank you it was our 25th wedding anniversary

Cool Location. Cool house from the outside. Super small. Tiny bed. Tiny house. Two people max. I wouldn’t stay again.

unit in poor condition, partying in adjacent public parking lot until 1am, porch and deck in poor condition, storm door to deck in poor condition, fleas inside unit, furniture in poor condition, beds uncomfortable, and no view of the ocean from the deck due to high sand dune.

Super cute cozy home located on ocean side. No ocean view as this cute older home sits on the ground level, but a quick walk up the neighboring public access stairs takes you to the ocean. Home was very clean, but could use some exterior maintenance. Overall, cute place if you like shabby chic and don’t mind not having ocean view or private ocean access.

This place needs to have the deck replaced. I grabbed a rail walking up to deck and it broke off. You can barely open the gate going to beach. Beach at this location needs signs warning about rip currents. A young man drowned while we were there.

A perfect little getaway retreat for our family of 4, with a 10 year old and a 4 year old. It had everything we needed, and was steps away from the public beach access. The space was clean and tidy when we arrived. It was a little cramped at times, but there is actually a great use of the space. The porch was nice to get the sea breeze and hear the waves. Our kids loved the loft, and the steps were easier to traverse than we expected. Great for a small, young family that wants to be beachfront for an affordable price.

This house was cozy, very clean & perfect for my husband & I first stay @ Holden Beach. The interior style was fun & eclectic. The property was ocean front though the dunes were too high for a view. Easy access to beach right next door though the public paid parking could be noisy due to the activity of others arriving to the beach. The only suggestions would be a more upgraded mattress in the bedroom ( very lumpy) & access to additional blankets.

Adorable and eclectic A-frame. Only steps from the beach with a great front porch. Just a view of the dunes but the sound of the waves is very relaxing. Was able toake some grrat meals and the area was very quiet.

House was just lovely.. Decorated very beautifully. You could show up with just your clothing and be fine as everything you need is provided.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but this property is not up to what I expect for a VRBO rental. There is so much bulky furniture and home decor trinkets everywhere… making it cramped and uncomfortable. The worst part for me was the multitude of stains on all carpets and rugs. It was a disappointing stay at a lovely beach.

This tiny home has so much character!! Spent a long weekend here with my 13 year old son and our beloved dog. We loved the home, the beach, and the area. The house is small and cozy. It’s adjacent to the public beach parking giving easy access. This house is not on stilts so you can not see the ocean from the back porch. The ladder to the loft area is cumbersome but worth it! Absolutely charming!!

Furniture old and out of date. Rug is a trip hazard. Cobwebs in ceiling. Paint chipping inside and out. No view of Ocean just a huge dune. Bed mattress is old and to high off floor. Whole in arm chair. Stove falling apart

Many issues with basic amenities. AC/Heat,lights,WI-FI,TV. Property is very eclectic but run down. Needs to be better maintained. Wonderful location but will not re book.

This is a great little place to stay for 1-3 people! It had everything we needed for 5 full days. You cannot actually see the beach from the back deck but you can hear it and the boardwalk to the beach is right next to the gate. We had a wonderful stay here and would come again!

House is much larger inside than it looks! Super cute and eclectic. Recommend having someone with a ladder clean the cobwebs in the rafters, but it was good ambiance for an October stay. Lol. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect for our 3 person family and easy beach access!

The property is old and run down. It reeks of dogs and cats and show knows what else. I guess whe a property is no longer worth investing into, then it becomes pet friendly . It's very small and cramped.

The A Frame is what drew us. The quaint decor and set up is perfect for small family. We had 2 adults and a cocker. The parking next door is quiet and monitored often. We had no problems. The people are so nice and the location is a must for those that wake, have coffee and head for the breach. We will definable back!!

nice place but too much furniture for such a small place. and they need to do something about the cats living under the house my wife is allergic to cats and fi they were in the house we could not stay there

My partner and I had a great time staying at Anchors Holding, it was perfect for the two of us. The house has all of the necessities for a comfortable vacation, plus some. There’s plenty of kitchen tools for cooking and dishes if you prefer eating in. Lots of ocean and beach related books are laid out and the overall decor makes it a cozy place to stay. The bathroom is rather small and a taller/larger person will have trouble navigating some spaces in the house, like the shower or the stairs to the loft. We did have trouble getting the WiFi to work consistently for streaming but the cable worked okay. The outside shower was great to have and the deck was a comfortable space to hang out on and listen to the ocean, even with the public access right outside the gate we still felt we had privacy. There were of course other people using the public beach access but only found it to be noisier on the weekend days, through out the week it was very quiet. Overall we had a great stay and this is a home we would definitely consider renting again in the future.

We love this property. We have stayed here 3 times. It’s perfect for our needs. Nice and cozy. We will be back again.

This cute little A frame provided a wonderful respite from everyday life! The decor is clean, beautiful and comfortable! We brought items like salt, pepper, towels and sheets with us but ended up not needing them because they were included with the house. It is important to know that you cannot see the ocean from the front porch of the house even though it is beach front.

Listing was ethically and blantently misleading. Listing states new furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, central a/c, dvd player. None of that was true.

The house was simply adorable. We had a party of 4, so it was a little cramped but we knew that it would be when we rented it. Though the house is on the ocean, it does not have direct access to the beach. You have to slip out a side gate and utilize the public beach access. Again we knew this going in and felt that for the price, it was still well worth it. The back porch is not high enough to see the ocean, however you could hear the waves which was enough for us. Overall we loved this house, but would not recommend it for families with small children, as the stairs to the loft would not be suitable. The rental company, Vacasa was great to work with. We had a small problem with the outdoor hose and deck chairs and they went above and beyond to remedy the problem the same day.

This was a sweet beach cottage full of character. We loved the spacious outdoor shower. It was the perfect space for our little family.
