Atlantic Retreat is a cosy bungalow sleeping 4 max set back on a quiet road, within easy walking distance of the beaches and town of Bude.
It is a 5 minute stroll from Crooklets beach, Summerleaze beach and the Seapool.
There are 2 sizable gardens to the front (inc. sun deck) and rear, all fully enclosed and child and dog friendly. To the front there is a quaint bridge leading to 2 off road parking spaces next to a stream.

Stayed Jul 17, 2025A wonderful stay. Even though the online description incorrectly indicated a dryer, our hosts graciously offered to dry our clothes for us. Which they did, picking up early evening and returning early evening. Fantastic service.We really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Dec 27, 2023The property is ideally sited with carking spaces (suggest notice Private parking had a couple times couldn't park as others in stretet pinched space. Main problem was the strong stench of damp. the property was wet, the beds damp, when we opened the kitchen cupboard to use the pan it was covedred in mould disgusting! in fact all the pans etc where in same state. The property is desperatley in need of some TLC, soft furnishings etc. Taking this into account I do not feel it was good value for price charged. In fact as i have chest problems I now have a chest infection and on antibotics, probably caused the damp. It is a shame because it could have been a holiday trasure with a bit of care.

Stayed Jul 22, 2023Couldn't have asked for anywhere more central for beaches, shops, pubs, restaurants. The cottage has everything you need on a quiet road set back from the main road. Not forgetting the space for the dog outside who loved running around.

Stayed Aug 6, 2022Stayed here for the second time we love the area and Bude is our go to holiday location. I totally recommend this house it’s location is excellent for access to the beach we love surfing so this venue is perfect it’s in a quiet road and this fulfilled our needs completely.
