Atarangi Retreat: SOLAR Energy Gr8 Views with Spa

The hosts were lovely, great communication and very helpful. The house was so nice, provided everything needed, beautiful views, very comfortable, would definitely book again.

Lovely comfortable home with fabulous views. Dog friendly. Drive is a quite steep. We would definitely recommend. The host also gave great instructions and we arrived to several wonderful treats.

We had a very pleasant stay at Atarangi Retreat. It is a gardeners paradise, a great place to relax from Spa pool to the outdoor areas. We would be back!

Excellent communication from Geoff was much appreciated from initial booking all the way through to the end of our stay.As a family of 6 from UK and Auckland, Atarangi retreat was a perfect size and well equipped with everything that we needed. It is in a great location and within easy reach of local beaches.The house itself is lovely and we very much enjoyed the garden and all the cute hidey holes to sit and read, not to mention the spa tub for an extra bit if luxury. We would highly recommend Atarangi retreat for families or a small group looking for a relaxing stay on Waiheke

Overall the place was great, lovely welcome gifts, and fantastic communication and check in process. We had some initial issue with the wifi and Mark was so great in helping sort it out over the phone and quickly. We felt very comfortable in the property and it really felt like we were staying at the house of some good friends. The views are amazing. We loved that Geoff and Mark set up the table tennis in the garage and we had a great time playing that! The Bose wireless speaker was charged and the kitchen had everything we needed. However, for the amount of money we paid, we felt the property could have been a bit more tidy. For example, there was rubbish left in the kitchen on our arrival, and the fridge drawer was full of leftover vegetables and half a bottle of milk. The pillows in the master need replacing or washing at least and the knives are pretty bad / blunt / broken. I would have appreciated some personal items being removed (however some of this contributed to a cozy feel).Overall, the place was good, but for the price point I would probably look at alternatives next time. Exceptionally well equipped home! Cozy, warm, welcoming accommodation! Great outside sitting areas. Definitely would stay again!

Perfect property for staying with kids ages 8 and 10. An easy walk to the beach and food. Kids loved the hot tub. Clean and easy to live in as a family.

We had such a lovely stay here, and Geoff was kind and communicative. Everything was just as it appeared in the listing and the house is so nice and comfortable on beautiful grounds with impressive views.

Lovely property which is finished to a high end. Quite a lot of mosquitoes but they’ve got everything from mosquito spray to antihistamine cream. Lovely view and do able without a car to see the rest of the island.
