At the foot of the streetcar warm house with garden for 2/3 p

My husband and I had a lovely stay in this property for 5 nights. It is very well appointed with a sun terrace and lovely walk-in shower. The owner is delightful and gave us a wonderful suggestion of what to visit. The apartment is 5 minutes walk from the tram stop which takes you straight into the centre of Bordeaux. It is walking distance from a large Auchan (supermarket) and a boulangerie. Very close to Junction 18 of the Rocade and easy access to the motorway and to get out into the countryside. Would definitely stay here again.

Little jewel in a perfect location to visit Bordeaux or escape to the coast or countryside. We have already recommended it to numerous friends.

We had an excellent stay here just on the edge of Bordeaux. Maite helped us understand the public transport which is convenient to use from the appartment. Accommodation is very clean, spacious, good shower, comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. There is a nice peaceful outside space although the mosquitoes prevented us enjoying that as much as we would have liked! Maite was available, friendly and helpful. Only slight problem was rather weak WiFi but would highly recommend for a stay convenient to Bordeaux. Thank you.

Very quiet and tranquil setting, lovely garden. Tram to Bordeaux a 8min walk and 20 min tram ride to centre

We booked last minute for a family holiday. We found the place and the host excellent. Loved the visit and hope to come back.

The rental is located just outside of the city of Bordeaux. The owner gave us a lot of information about the area which was very helpful. There’s a big supermarket about a 5 minute walk away and the beginning of the tram route is right across the street from the supermarket. We rode the tram into the city and it took about 20 minutes and saved us money on parking. The rental was perfect and the owner checked on us to be sure everything was okay. Wish we could go back one day!

We were there for 6 nights and were sad to leave. One of the contributing factors was how comfortable we felt in this charming rental and how friendly , helpful and accommodating the owner, Mme. Alonso, was. The owner lived next door, and was quick to answer any of our questions. She also gave us much appreciated tourist tips. The description and pictures of the house were accurate. The place was clean, well-kept, with a wonderful backyard/patio, and about a ten-minute walk to the tram stop, supermarket and mall. We highly recommend this rental and would be happy to return there ourselves.

This comfortable and well-equipped flat is in Villenave d'Ornon, a quiet area just south of Bordeaux with excellent transport links to the city (and they will be even better when the extension to the tramline is finished next spring). As it is situated just south of the city ring road, access to the motorway network could hardly be bettered. Despite this, when sitting in the garden under the sunshade sipping your aperitif, you could be in the countryside somewhere. Our trip was in October and it was still pleasantly warm, but you can always draw the blinds and turn on the heating if it's chilly. There are two wineries within easy walking distance, but, for the more adventurous, day trips to the Médoc and Sauternes / Graves represent an easy drive, and Blaye and the Libournais are not much further. The flat has everything you need for a relaxing week, but if you have as agreeable a time as we did this is unlikely to be enough. For self-caterers, the supermarket Géant is a short walk away and we can recommend the bread from the bakery at the end of the road. Maité is the ideal hostess, helpful and attentive but unobtrusive, and a mine of information about the area. Indeed, nothing seemed to be too much trouble, and she is very patient with those whose French (or Spanish) falls short occasionally. This was a real find, and we would love to go again.

Landlord lovely and lives adjacent.

Fantastic place with all the conveniences that we needed (dishwasher, microwave, hob, washing machine, bbq, terrace seating, access to garden, parking, wifi, tv, etc). A very comfortable stay made all the more pleasant by our friendly and helpful host. The tram line leading to central Bordeaux is only a short drive away (and is being extended even closer). Very enjoyable base while we were working in the area. [Our host spoke only a little English and the WiFi was occasionally a little slow, but no major obstacles.]
