Stayed Apr 25, 2026Birds nest is a sanctuary. Quiet, clean. Well thought out decor and amenities. You are 20-30 minutes from most restaurants. The food in the area is worth the drive. The host is very attentive. Highly recommend staying here

Stayed Apr 9, 2026Our family has stayed at the Bird Nest two times over the last year. The home is immaculate and is decorated so tastefully with the theme of “Bird Nest.” The atmosphere is completely relaxing and the beds are super comfortable. The back porch is amazing for sipping morning coffee and drinking evening wine overlooking the marsh with comfortable outdoor furniture and two porch swings. The host provides toothbrushes, body wash, shampoo, firewood, grilling tools, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back many times in the future. Ultimate relaxation with all of the comforts of home!

Stayed Mar 7, 2026The house was spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well equipped with high quality cookware and utensils. The large screened porch was lovely. The location was peaceful. Located within easy walking distance of the Harris Neck NWR. Well equipped for bird lovers with binocs and bird books and there were games to play in the evenings. Yellow throated warblers were nesting right next to the porch in the Spanish moss. Judith was an amazing host and went out of her way to help us when we left an important item in the house after checkout.
