Art-Filled Lakefront Cottage: Fire Pit, Kayaks & Views

House is as described. Actually felt a bit larger than we expected.

The lake view from the living room and kitchen was truly awesome, and the house was artistically decorated and functional. We found our experience very warm and tranquil. We plan on returning.

Property exactly as described. Very quiet, right on the lake. Bed was comfortable, shower modern, and the kitchen big and bright. The fact that the host was next door added to our enjoyment. It was a delightful week!

Laurel was an excellent host, responded to all my inquiries quickly and with much appreciated wit! The place was clean and the furnishings were very comfortable. The house, as the pictures show, is right on the lake in a lovely quiet setting. Like a dream come true. Highly recommend!

We had a beautiful, relaxing, & activity filled stay in this unique lakeside cottage with an osprey-level view of the southern end of Lake Champlain. Kayaking, bird watching, apple picking, day trips to Middlebury & Vergennes & lounging around the atmospheric cottage made for a top notch experience all around. Thanks!

Isolation at its finest. We were only here 4 days with 2.6 days of bad weather. Feel like temps of 49 in the middle of August was a shock. Checked out Burlington and Middlebury during windy cloudy days Lake front house was awesome. Not luxury but very homey with everything we needed. Loved being the only one on the lake.

We had the most amazing week at the Casey Camp. Every minute of the week was precious, even when it rained. It really poured for a little bit and was so beautiful. Then there were all the moments on the deck looking out at the lake, and spotting eagles with our binoculars. The lake's current can get pretty intense sometimes, and others it's like a glass mirror. The house is very sweet and the perfect size for two people. The mattress was very comfortable, and sleeping was a joy. The kitchen was great, and so was the bbq outside. Eating meals at the table on the deck looking out at the lake is priceless. The house is also on a road that has no outlet, so I think we heard 2 or 3 cars drive by the whole week. It was so quiet and peaceful. My favorite memory was napping on the couch on the deck, looking at the trees blowing in the breeze, and hearing bird songs and lake water. M

Peaceful, relaxing short stay for us. Comfortable bed, clean bath and kitchen, including everything you need for your stay. Used the porch/deck, adirondack furniture the whoke time. The only negative was the musty smell of the second bedroom and couch in living room. There was a dehumidifier that needed constant emptying to work efficiently. Despite this, we would definitely return.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Exactly what we needed to get away from the grind of life.

A beautiful, quiet cabin. Exactly as advertised. Clean, funky decor. Spent half of each day floating in the lake in some cheapy pool inflatables we brought with us and it was awesome. Great communication with host. Thanks for a much needed getaway.

Absolutely adored the character and charm of this lovely cottage on the lake that had everything we could possibly have needed for a relaxing and restoring break. It took a few crazy windstorms to remove us from the glorious deck/shore view and watching all the wildlife (while munching on delish cheese curds from the creamery up the road). I will definitely be back!
