Our family enjoyed our stay at this house. The home was warm and welcoming, featuring many rooms and even holiday decorations! We had 10 family members staying at the house, along with a Christmas celebration for an additional 10 local relatives. The kitchen was sufficient, equipped with updated appliances, and the seating arrangement worked well between the two dining areas. We appreciated the high chair and pack n play for the babies! There was plenty of parking and easy access through the kitchen door. We also appreciated the beautiful views. and easy access via the kitchen door. Beautiful views.

We had a wonderful time! What a beautiful property! The outdoor areas are just as great as the inside! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a space for a large family to stay.

This place is huge and absolutely breathtaking. The views of the Mississippi are beautiful and it’s walking distance to town and Palmer. We were there for my son’s graduation and had room for everyone to stay with plenty of room for more. The owner was quick to respond and very accommodating. The only downfall was it was pretty chilly in the home despite having 3 thermostats (could have been our fault though. We didn’t want to adjust them too much) and the water didn’t get very warm for showers. It’s an older home so pretty creaky and noisy but totally worth the stay! Would definitely recommend to others! Actually, I have already.Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us

Very nice accommodations, just what we needed. The addl kitchen amenities and coffee supplies were very nice to have. Comments: We stayed during very frigid temps in the QC. Took a day for the house to get warm. Only had a partial roll of paper towelsDish scrubber would be niceOverall we were very pleased.

We thought the house was really cool and loved the old character. Plenty of really comfortable beds and bathrooms, space for everyone and a piano my son enjoyed playing. The negatives were the old, worn out bath towels, tons of hanging clothes in the closets that made putting our stuff away difficult, and the lack of landscaping with overgrown bushes and cobwebs.

Old Tutor style home in historic area! Beautiful woodwork in large home! Plenty of space for our group of women! Grounds needs attention, but we stayed inside. Close to the Mississippi River! The host very responsive to my calls. We had plenty of parking for 5 vehicles!

Was rather disappointed in the condition of the property. Outside space was unusable due to overgrown bushes and old, dirty furniture. Inside was not clean. We had to vacuum the floors in the sun porch as big dust balls and other things appeared after moving the sofa. Bathrooms not clean. We were not sure the sheets on the beds were clean. Personal items especially in the Master bedroom were out in the open. We have all stayed in VRBOs and this one did not measure up. Very disappointing.

This is a beautifully constructed old home with beautiful wood features such as pocket doors, curved stairway and banister and wonderfully detailed fireplace. Location was great for our purposes but unable to utilize outdoor spaces as they were not kept up and lots of overgrown bushes.

It’s lovely architecture and handcrafted woodwork-a mixture of period art/pieces as well as remodeled parts. Beds were comfy. Appreciated access to yard for our beagle and the high chair for the baby and use of laundry. We didn’t understand from the current listing that the owners live there sometimes and it seems they also that they are still refurbishing ( lots of boxes etc still around) we had some but nicest property manager ever. The outside grounds are more overgrown and not really inviting but inside was welcoming.

This home is amazing and beautifully maintained. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and the price was unbeatable. Marianna answered all questions quickly and was very helpful. As coincidence would have it, my uncle and his wife lived in the house for a bit in the early 1960s. Stay here. You won’t be disappointed!
