We had the best stay at this house it accommodated our family perfectly. We enjoyed all the various rooms in the house and sitting outside loved the architecture. The communication was one of the best I’ve ever had. I hope to stay here again. My family and I loved it.

The property was perfect for our family and friends attending a wedding at a nearby mansion. There were plenty of bedrooms and lots of beds. The sitting area was lovely as family stopped in and out before and after the wedding. We didn’t use the outdoor space much as it was very hot. Our grandkids loved exploring the house and the “secret” staircase. Highly recommend this property for a group.

A group of college classmates were in town to celebrate one of our classmates receiving an award. This house provided a perfect place for us to stay and catch up on the several years we had not seen each other. The multiple bedrooms, ample seating areas, and two dining room tables gave us enough space to gather in both small and large groups to share old stories. The location between East Davenport, Downtown davenport, and the bridges across the river made our moving around the the Quad Cities effortless. The house itself was a gem and has been maintained beautifully to keep is 120 year old charm. We may stay here again when we have a milestone reunion in a few years.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this house. The home was warm and welcoming, featuring many rooms and even holiday decorations! We had 10 family members staying at the house, along with a Christmas celebration for an additional 10 local relatives. The kitchen was sufficient, equipped with updated appliances, and the seating arrangement worked well between the two dining areas. We appreciated the high chair and pack n play for the babies! There was plenty of parking and easy access through the kitchen door. We also appreciated the beautiful views. and easy access via the kitchen door. Beautiful views.

This place is huge and absolutely breathtaking. The views of the Mississippi are beautiful and it’s walking distance to town and Palmer. We were there for my son’s graduation and had room for everyone to stay with plenty of room for more. The owner was quick to respond and very accommodating. The only downfall was it was pretty chilly in the home despite having 3 thermostats (could have been our fault though. We didn’t want to adjust them too much) and the water didn’t get very warm for showers. It’s an older home so pretty creaky and noisy but totally worth the stay! Would definitely recommend to others! Actually, I have already.Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us

Very nice accommodations, just what we needed. The addl kitchen amenities and coffee supplies were very nice to have. Comments: We stayed during very frigid temps in the QC. Took a day for the house to get warm. Only had a partial roll of paper towelsDish scrubber would be niceOverall we were very pleased.

We thought the house was really cool and loved the old character. Plenty of really comfortable beds and bathrooms, space for everyone and a piano my son enjoyed playing. The negatives were the old, worn out bath towels, tons of hanging clothes in the closets that made putting our stuff away difficult, and the lack of landscaping with overgrown bushes and cobwebs.

Old Tutor style home in historic area! Beautiful woodwork in large home! Plenty of space for our group of women! Grounds needs attention, but we stayed inside. Close to the Mississippi River! The host very responsive to my calls. We had plenty of parking for 5 vehicles!
