The villa is located in a very quiet place on a plot of one hectare with a beautiful view of the valley. She is comfortable with a high-end audiovisual equipment (large flat screen with home cinema) The living room gives access to a large 80m framed patio outdoor kitchen with a barbecue on one hand and the other hand on a small terrace wood overlooking the valley. The pool is an infinity pool with foot bath; access to the large pool is via a staircase; the bottom is flat with a depth of 1m45;

Stayed Jun 30, 2019We stayed for two weeks at Alata and the villa was everything and more than we had anticipated from the photographs. It was spotlessly clean and really well equipped both inside and in the gardens. The swimming pool was superb and the views from the pool and the house down the valley were spectacular. We saw lots of wildlife and particularly enjoyed the birdlife. Jean Marie and Annie were very welcoming and helpful when we needed advice. The nearby beach at Lava was good, as was the restaurant there. We found the Corsican roads challenging and so did not explore the area as much as we had anticipated. Ajaccio was about 15 minutes drive away, with a good choice of shopping and restaurants. The turtle sanctuary is well worth a visit, we were not aware beforehand how many different species there were and how many were endangered. We would thoroughly recommend this property if you are looking for a really excellent house in a quiet location.
