Beautiful design! Close to everything and we walked a lot. Great neighborhood, could get a little loud at night so bring your earplugs. Beds were super comfy and we had everything we needed. Loved the deck area and enjoyed it every morning and evening!!!!!Great hosts and responsive. You will not regret staying here.

This flat is truly one-of-a-kind and unlike any other place we’ve stayed. It’s full of character, history, and beautiful art, giving it a very personal and memorable feel. The hosts were fantastic—great communicators who personally met us at check-in and gave us a thoughtful tour of the space.The location worked very well for us, with several bus stops just a block or two away, making it easy and inexpensive to get around San Francisco. The flat itself has many perks: everything is on one level, there’s a wonderful outdoor space to relax in, a garage if you have a car, a fully stocked kitchen, a washer and dryer, and even fans in the bedrooms.It’s worth noting that this is the owners’ home rather than a pure rental, so you’ll see personal belongings around. That didn’t bother us at all, but some travelers may want to know in advance. We also noticed a fair amount of dog hair on the furnishings and bedding. Again, this wasn’t an issue for us, but it could be problematic for someone with allergies.Another downside was one Saturday night a nearby club played music until 7 AM, and the bass carried strongly into the flat even with the windows closed. Interestingly, this didn’t happen the following Saturday, so it may be hit or miss.Overall, this is a wonderfully unique and comfortable place to stay, especially if you appreciate art, history, and a lived-in charm.

The house is amazing and unique. The rooftop patio was a highlight of my entire trip. The host, Steve, has created an expirence that truly embodied the spirit of home sharing apps such as VRBO. I would stay here again next time I'm in SF.

My husband and I felt so fortunate to have the opportunity to stay seven nights on vacation at this beautiful home with an amazing and relaxing rooftop garden. We loved the unique architecture of the home and the artistic home décor. The house was so comfortable, spacious, clean, and extremely well equipped, with everything we could possibly need. We greatly appreciated Steve meeting us at the property for check-in to show us around the house and provide useful information. Steve is a great communicator and a very generous host. The location of the home worked out perfect for us, being close to public transportation and within 20 minutes walking distance to many cultural venues in San Francisco. Our sincere thanks and appreciation to Steve and Robert for helping to make our vacation so wonderful.

We spent 2 weeks here, during a stay for a medical procedure. The apartment is well located in a neighborhood with lots of restaurants, bakeries, markets and coffee shops in easy walking distance; the variety of places to eat was fantastic. The apartment itself is very unique, with lots of unusual artwork, and it is very comfortable, a great place to relax in early morning and late evening. The kitchen had everything we needed. The convenience of having dedicated parking for our car was very important for us. Our communication with Steve was excellent; he met us for the check-in, and was instantly responsive whenever we had a question afterwards. We love this area of San Francisco, and highly recommend it to other guests.

Loved staying here. The listing was just perfect for my trip. Steve was amazing and super communicative.

The property is stunning and spacious. It was perfect for my husband, daughter, and me. The master bedroom is huge and the second bedroom is large and comfortable. The living room has multiple comfy places to sit. The kitchen is also quite large and there are three different places to dine! Steve was extraordinary. When we arrived he met us at the property and showed us around and made sure we knew where everything was. Then after we checked out, I left my phone with my ID behind. When I realized it, I contacted him and he interrupted his trip to Sonoma to help us out. He couldn’t have been nicer about it. If I could give him 20 stars I would! Thank you Steve!

Property location is amazing. Walking distance to a lot of yummy local restaurants. Property decor and rooftop garden view is amazing.

We were welcomed and given a quick tour by the host, Steven, who did an excellent job showing us how to use the alarm and various amenities in the unit. From the outside, it doesn't look all that impressive; however, once you're on the inside, the uniqueness and cleanliness of the unit are top-notch. The location was within walking distance of first-class resteraunts and ~1 mile from Union. I look forward to staying here during our next visit!
