Wake up in a mid-century home designed for families and adventurers. Bold red door, morning coffee as the sun touches the mountains, arcade games waiting, and your dog already settling into their own bed.

Welcome to the Red Door Bungalow—where thoughtful details, genuine pet care, and endless entertainment turn a Bisbee weekend into a memory you'll keep coming back for.

THE SPACE

Step into an open-plan living room built for connection and downtime. This is where families gather: board games spread across the table, a restored Ms. Pac-Man arcade machine in the corner (yes, guests really do play it far more than they expect), a smart TV with sound system and game console, and shelves of books. The décor is playful and personal—black-and-white exterior, retro color pops, custom touches—creating unmistakable warmth that guests describe as cozy and inviting.

Work from anywhere with high-speed Wi-Fi, multiple outlets, and split-unit heating and cooling in every room so you set your own comfort level year-round. Free on-premise parking and street parking mean zero hassle the moment you arrive.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS

Bedroom 1 features a queen bed with room-darkening shades and a full closet. The bed is genuinely comfortable—guests with back issues and light sleepers consistently praise it. Extra pillows and blankets are available if you prefer a different feel.

Bedroom 2 offers a full bed with colorful décor and is accessed through Bedroom 1—an ideal layout for families with children or teens. A sofa bed in the living room provides a third sleeping space for someone who wants their own zone. Important note: Bedroom 2 access through Bedroom 1 works beautifully for families but may not suit two unrelated couples seeking completely separate spaces.

The single shared bathroom is clean and well-appointed, with a bidet, fluffy towels, complimentary shampoo and conditioner, and plenty of hot water for long showers.

KITCHEN & DINING

Arrive to a fully equipped kitchen ready for anything: stove, oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator and freezer, and all the cooking basics you need. The dedicated coffee bar is pre-stocked with starter grounds and tea—guests consistently rave about this and say it makes mornings feel special. Wine glasses, dishes, silverware, and thoughtful touches mean you're set whether you're preparing a full meal or grabbing a quick bite before exploring.

Dine indoors at the café table or take your meal outdoors to your garden space and hammock. The open layout makes cooking and eating together feel natural and social. Cold bottled water is available throughout your stay—a thoughtful touch guests especially appreciate during warm weather.

ENTERTAINMENT & SPECIAL AMENITIES

Entertainment is built in: smart TV with sound system, game console, restored arcade machine, board games, and books. Whether you're traveling with kids, friends, or as a couple, there's always something to do—the arcade machine is a genuine crowd-pleaser that keeps guests engaged far longer than expected.

Additional comfort features include washer and dryer (pack light, stay fresh), outdoor seating and dining area with hammock, garden space, bed linens, extra pillows and blankets, portable fans, and a crib if needed. Everything is stocked thoughtfully so you focus on enjoying your stay rather than worrying about what you forgot to pack. Charging your EV The property has you covered with an on-site EV charger.

PETS & SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS

Dogs are welcome here with advance approval and a pet fee. Your dog will find dedicated bowls, toys, a dog bed, and yard access (note: yard is not fully fenced, so supervision is required). Hosts leave out special treats and stuffed animals for visiting pups. Guests consistently mention how welcomed their dogs felt and how happy they were throughout the stay. Cats cannot stay.

NEIGHBORHOOD & NEARBY ATTRACTIONS

This elevated, single-level bungalow sits in a quiet hillside pocket just 5 minutes from historic Old Bisbee's galleries, murals, and cafés—yet tucked far enough away that you hear songbirds instead of city traffic. Guests are consistently amazed at how private the location feels while still being minutes from everything. You get the peace and privacy that make a vacation feel like a real escape—families and couples praise how relaxing it feels—while staying just minutes away from all the action and adventure the area offers.

Everything you want is within 10 minutes' drive:
• Old Bisbee's Main Street – murals, galleries, Copper Queen Library (5 min)
• Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum – discover the region's mining heritage (5 min)
• Copper Queen Mine Tour – don a hard hat and head underground (6 min)
• Lavender Pit Overlook – iconic photo op (8 min)
• Erie Street in Lowell – classic cars and Americana storefronts (9 min)
• Warren Ballpark & District – historic architecture and local eateries (10 min)

WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS PLACE

Superhost with genuine care. The stocked coffee bar, welcome supplies, snacks, cold bottled water, and personalized touches set the tone the moment you arrive. Guests report finding custom welcome signs, birthday cakes from local bakeries, and special treats for their dogs. This level of care means you're welcomed, not just accommodated. The host responds immediately and shares local restaurant and activity recommendations that actually matter.

Seamless work-cation setup. Fast Wi-Fi, ample outlets, split heating and cooling for perfect temperature control, and peaceful surroundings mean you actually focus. Guests working from here report zero lag and zero comfort issues.

Abundance of games and entertainment. Board games, an arcade machine (yes, really), a smart TV with game console, and books mean families discover far more to do than expected. Kids and adults alike find themselves playing the arcade machine far more than planned.

Pets are genuinely welcomed here. Unlike listings that simply allow dogs, this home has dog beds, dedicated bowls, toys, stuffed animals, and a host who understands what pets need. Dogs are the happiest part of the trip—guests consistently tell us that.

Fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials. Full-size appliances, wine glasses, cooking basics, and a pre-stocked coffee bar and pantry staples mean your first morning feels effortless whether you're brewing coffee or cooking a special dinner.

Private yet convenient location. The combination of peace and proximity consistently exceeds guest expectations. You're never more than 10 minutes from downtown Bisbee, but you'll feel like you've stepped out of the world.

We had a wonderful stay at the Red Door Bungalow in Bisbee! From the moment we booked, the property manager was outstanding—super responsive, helpful with all our questions, and made check-in smooth and easy. Communication was top-notch throughout our trip. The bungalow was exactly as advertised (and the photos don’t do it justice—the mountain views are gorgeous!). It’s beautifully renovated with a great mix of modern comfort and that classic Bisbee charm. Everything was impeccably clean when we arrived, with fresh linens, well-stocked kitchen basics, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home right away.Location-wise, it’s unbeatable. You’re within a short drive to the heart of Old Bisbee once you park in town, so everything is super walkable—historic sites, great restaurants, art galleries, shops, and even the Queen Mine Tour or Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum are just a short drive away.We loved our time exploring Bisbee’s quirky vibe, and this bungalow was the ideal base—quiet yet central, comfortable, and spotless. We’d definitely book again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing Arizona getaway. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Navigating to the bungalow was very simple. I felt welcome, and settled in just fine. The inclusion of simple and convenient, complementary items: towels, paper towels, coffee maker/coffee bar, sheets, blankets were all clean, presented in a way that just fits each room. There were awesome amount: the audio system, the arcade, the nerf guns were a really fun addition to the experience!I hope this place is available next time I visit Bisbee :)

This was our first time in the Bisbee area. The Red Door Bungalow listing caught our interest. Initial booking and check in was a breeze. Jay provided all the information to make our arrival uneventful. What made the trip special was the unexpected extras: on arrival, Jay had a yummy treat from the local bakery. The sweet treats were amazing. We had to visit the bakery in Bisbee to see what other options were available. In addition, I was concerned with finding a local coffee shop for our first morning and Jay took care of that as well. The unit had a small coffee bar set up with local coffee options. Wonderful way to start the day. Location was perfectly located given our itinerary and list of activities we desired to accomplish. Would be happy to recommend the Red Door Cabin and plan to return in the spring for our next visit.

We enjoyed our stay so much, all of the little extras were appreciated and I felt welcomed and special. Thank you Jay!! The house was spotless, the coffee bar has everything you need, and the beds were comfy. There are two parking spots out front. It's easy to get from the house to anywhere you need, the local Hitching Post is a short walk down the hill too. It's probably best for family with kids, or very close friends as you do have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other.
