Aqua Sound - Gulf Front, Gated Cmty, Free Beach Service, Pool, Hot Tub, Tennis!

We had a great time!

Property was absolutely stunning and had amazing views of the Gulf. My father with Alzheimer’s that we care for spent most of the trip on the porch looking at the Gulf and listening to the waves, and my new grandchild enjoyed quite a few naps out there as well. The property comfortably fit our crew of 9 with room to spare. Having a room that could fit my husband and I and my dad calmed my fears about having my dad in an unknown environment. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to prepare meals during our stay, so we never had to leave once we arrived. I can honestly say, my family couldn’t have found a better place for a much needed vacation.

The house was fabulouosly located and the beds were comfy! However, no window treatments in Master, several things were falling apart/broken at the end of the summer and the kitchen has bare minimum cooking supplies. We had to buy several things to restock the kitchen. I am sure it would be better taken care of earlier in the summer. The new pool was not open yet but looks amazing. We will probably be back but stay at a different house in the neighborhood that is has better upkeep.

We booked this rental for 6 nights. Arrived to a dirty rental that had a foul mildew smell and one of the kitchen cabinet doors was sitting on the floor. The pots and pans were dirty and in very poor condition, so we ended up going to the store and purchasing our own. The AC unit wasn’t working properly and their maintenance team wasn’t able to fix it; so they had an AC company come in which took 5 days to get fixed and then being told would take at least 12 hrs to get cool due to how hot and humid it was inside. There is mold and mildew present throughout the house which caused several of our family members to get sick. We ended up checking out after the 4th night due to how hot the rental was and our family members getting ill. We booked this rental based on the good reviews and listing photos/description, but be very cautious as they are absolutely misleading.

Master Bedroom had no window covering, had to buy tempo blinds, furniture in living room resembled fraternity house. Limited seating inside and outside. Freezer and microwave were broke. A/C wasn’t cooling, Railing on balcony steps were hazardous. Inbave owned properties in neighborhood for 30 yesrs. This house was the worst ive owned or rented in those 30 years. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE THIS PROPERTY!!!! Great location but the house seemed to be staged for maximum owner profit. Caution to anyone interested in renting this property there are much better options in Destin Pointe. For the price I paid we were extremely disappointed. I won’t rent it again.

Overall nice place to stay!

What a gorgeous house and beach. Absolutely loved the Primary Bedroom . It was my favorite. The younger ones enjoyed fishing . We watched dolphins right from our balcony everyday. This house was really clean also. We really enjoyed our time here.

The place was very nice and clean and well located to everything we wanted to do. Beach access was nice with having the chairs available. We did have some maintenance issues with the dryer(the dryer was still not working right after maintenance came) and dishwasher. We also noticed that there were not a lot of other things that are normally included in VRBO's that I have stayed at in the past? There were no beach chairs to sit on beach at night, hair dryer, umbrella, beach towels and extra toilet paper, coffee and creamer. I would definitely stay here again, just wish there were a few more basic amenities. Thanks Regena

This property is one we will continue to come back to. Gated community, beach access, beautiful home and very easy to check in/check out! Close to town for any restaurant, grocery store or anything you may need! We had the best time!

We enjoyed the house and location. The house is right on the beach. Destin Pointe is an exceptional location, with private access to the Gulf and quiet snorkelling cove at East Pass, this was our second time at Aqua Sound. The whole family loves the house.
