Host extremely helpful when we had a little trouble with the lock. Lovely accommodation with comfy chairs, roomy bedrooms and just a few steps to the beach. Lots of games for cold rainy days. Convenient to restaurants and historical sites. I would stay again.

This vacation spot was honestly perfect! A very chill vibe with beautiful views and my favorite part was the easy access to the beach. Not far from downtown and amazing and cute shops and restaurants. The people here are so friendly as well! Overall, the stay, the place and the location are top notch.

We couldn’t have chosen a better place to call our home away from home than Pelican Palms. This property is well-appointed, very clean, thoughtfully furnished, and exactly as described on VRBO. The location was very convenient and allowed for a peaceful and restorative time away. Hurricane Erin offshore (thankfully) created some spectacular waves for the local surfing crowd, but didn’t stop us from lovely beach strolls and meeting friendly neighbors. We give this beautiful, comfortable home a 10/10 rating and would love to return someday soon. Thanks for sharing it with us!

The beach house exceeded our expectations in every way. The location was perfect. If we come back to Amelia Island this will be my first choice. Our kids loved it, and being able to bring our dog made it even more special. In the past we have rented a house with its own private walkway to the beach. This house had a shorter walk than that one.

Couldn't better! The amenities, the location, everything was simply perfect. I stayed with my dog for a week in Aug 2025 and didn't want to leave. The house is literally steps from the beach and a short walk to Salt Life restaurant. It is also a 2 min drive to Fort Clinch park entrance and the Egan greenway trails. I will be booking here again very soon!

Very nice

Perfect spot for a week at Fernandina. Very nice accommodations and sooo close to the beach. The side porch is shaded by an awning and catches a great breeze. The kitchen is well equipped. Judy and Jim were very attentive but never intrusive. Five stars.

This place was wonderful. We travel a good bit, and this place was definitely one of the best. It was well-stocked and was in a great location. Judy and Jim were very helpful. We will stay here again if we have the chance.

We all enjoyed our stay immensely, and the owners were great. Excellent communication and you could tell they thought of their guests because the home was very clean and they'd added several nice touches to make our stay even nicer. We hope to return.

Perfect location for a perfect beach getaway!The house was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and steps from the beach. The owners are cordial and responsive via messaging and we were sorry not to have opportunity to meet them in person!

My husband, one dog and I stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house was spotless, bed was super comfy and the location was quiet and super close to the beach, maybe a one minute walk to beach access 4. The hosts, Jim and Judy, were the absolute best. If you needed anything, they were there for you. I enjoyed our chats and their recommendation to eat at The Patio was spot on. The house was stocked with anything you could possibly needed. The patio was great to sit on after a long day on the beach. While we were there, a new motorized awning was installed over the patio which just added to our enjoyment. The house is within walking distance of a few restaurants and Main Beach, close to Fort Clinch and a short drive to downtown Fernandina Beach. I'm sorry we had to leave but would 100% stay here again.

We had a great two week stay. The house was clean and very well equipped. The location was perfect being within easy walking distance of the beach and some good restaurants. Other interesting areas to visit were only a short drive away. Will be staying there again on our next trip to Amelia Island

Everything was perfect! Location, home was lovely and comfortable and exactly as described. The weather cooperated, beach was fantastic and restsurants were great. We are returning next year. Thank you Judy and Jim!

We stayed for a month with our border collie, who loves running along the beach road! This was our third stay with Judy and Jim. They are friendly and responsive hosts. We recommend this cozy and clean place.

Very relaxing - amenities of the unit were perfect fit for our needs, all the comforts of home. Beach access is just to the end of the block and easy walk to the beach. This town is very easy to navigate and just minutes to old downtown. Great place to vacation.

This is a beautiful coastal home. And it is literally steps to the beach. Everything was perfect. From the x-large coffee mugs to the comfort of the bed and chairs. We loved it. All you need is your clothes and beach towels! I recommend highly.

My husband and I had a great stay! We loved being able to walk so easily to the beach, and was only a few minute drive to the downtown shops. Jim and Judy’s place had everything we needed and were very kind. We hope to be back next year!
