Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week as a family on our first visit to SGI. This house was in a perfect location: we walked back and forth to the beach, walked to the restaurant, donuts, and playground/park. We used the path to walk, run, and ride bikes. There was a yard for the boys to play in, play baseball, etc. The beach was uncrowded - we could come set up all our wagon full of things with plenty of space at 8AM, 11AM, 2PM or in the evenings. We have never been to a beach where we were out early to save a spot. This was a wonderful, relaxing change of pace. The house had wonderful small touches that made it obvious this was someone's home, and they were proud of. The beds were comfortable; there were mini-splits to help keep everything and everyone cool; there were multiple places to rinse sand off your body or your toys/chairs; there was a downstairs bathroom; there was plenty of space in the living areas; and there was a wonderful small pool, perfect for the home. If I had to come up with something negative, the water pressure struggled to keep up when more than one person was showering or doing the dishes, which made for some difficult evenings with 10 people, but we managed. The dishwasher also struggled to clean the dishes, but we survived. :) We really had the very best time and can't wait to visit next year.

The house is laid out nicely and is only a short walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants.

View of the water was great from the porch. Pool was nice but apparently the pump was not working. A breaker for the pump had blown. We were none the wiser and pool. We stay on St. George as much as we can and this was our best house so far. Location is great house is great! We will most definitely stay there again

We just returned from a week stay at this beautiful property!! The pictures do not do it justice!! Everything was clean, spacious, lots of areas for our group of 11 to spend time together or be separated for down time! The location is perfect! Just steps to the beach and close enough to restaurants, ice cream, and the lighthouse to be able to walk! We had a couple of issues but the management was quick to respond and everything was taken care of in a very timely manner!! We will definitely be back on our next trip to St. George Island!

Even though it was a central location, it was very peaceful and quiet and without much traffic. The beach path is just across the street which made it very convenient for everyone to come and go at their leisure. The house has very large windows on both ends, providing incredible views of the ocean from the front and of the rest of the island from the back side. The house was very spacious, and we appreciated having a separate bathroom for each bedroom. The bedrooms have very large windows with blinds and thick curtains. The kitchen was stocked adequately, however if you plan to do a lot of cooking, consider bringing your own specialty items (griddle, juicer, food processor etc.). The kitchen island is very big, so we had lots of prepping and serving space. There is plenty of cabinet space in the kitchen area. The small fridge in the coffee/bar area was extremely useful and it was very convenient to be able to set up a drink station in a separate area. The porch has plenty of seating space, a dining table and a very nice, large hammock. The pool area was nice and clean, and the pool was very well maintained, however it was rather small, especially for the size of the house and property. There is plenty of parking space and a large grassy area, where we were able to play volleyball. The downstairs bathroom was incredibly convenient and full of beach toys for us to use. The grill worked fine; however it is very small for a house that can house 12 people, and it could use replacing. The washer and dryer were a good size, and clean. A laundry basket would be a nice touch, since it is located in the basement. We had no maintenance issues during our stay. The only negative thing was that our trash cans were totally full when we arrived. Apparently, departure day is trash day, therefore, the cleaning crew should be in charge of putting out the

We had a large group (3 families, 12 people) and we had more than enough space and everything we needed. Our group had 6 children and they had a blast. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and we were pleasantly surprised with the beach toys, chairs, etc. that the house had. The pool was the perfect size for our kids and a nice break for the kids from the sand. The location of this house was also great! Super short walk to the beach and even though it isn’t beach front, you still have a nice view of the beach. We had a great week and will definitely be staying again!
