We loved the view from the deck both day and night. The home was clean EXCEPT that the two recliners were VERY old and stained so we covered them with sheets. Also the carpets were filthy-we cleaned them ourselves, 3 times and they were still old and stained. We had problems with the A/C so they sent a repair company to check it out…The A/C repair man told us that it was freezing up because the duct work was too small ( which they previously told the owner)and it kept freezing up causing us to having to turn it off to let it thaw before turning it back on. The kitchen was pretty well equipped except that the fry pans were so scared that we couldn’t use them. Beds were comfortable ( could use new pillows) it needs new living room furniture and patio chairs. Could also use some new bath towels and throw rugs in the bathrooms, the hall and kitchen. It was nice having a garage to keep our car out of the weather.

This property is in a great location. Ammenities are ok.This property needs alot of maintenance. ie: upgrade the ac system. Replace all carpet. Paint entire interior. We had several issues while there. All were dealt with within a reasonable length of time. If this home was upgraded and maintenance were done, this could be a great residence.

Great veiws with nature all around. An easy 4min drive to food and grocery stores. Large size bedrooms with plenty of space. Small kitchen with very limited pantry space for those doing a long stay. Yes the house is old, and has some inside cosmetic flaws with some lights not working, and rugs and chairs that seen better days. With that said it was a peacefull place to stay with everything withen 15 mins away. We were there for 4 months while we were moving, and it was priced right! Out of all the places we stayed we will miss this home the most!

This is a great home with spectacular views of the moutains and neighborhood. The house unfortunately was very dirty. The vacuum barely worked so we went to Goodwill and purchased one along with a carpet cleaner. We vacuumed the carpets 5 out of the first 7 days and each day picked up huge amounts of pet hair and powdery dirt. The two recliners in the living room were so dirty we chose not to sit on them until we cleaned them. The return vents for the HVAC were absolutely filthy. The sliding doors to the back patio were very difficult to open and close. The kitchen utensils were sparse and not in very good condition. There was no bar soap or shower gel in the bathrooms and no mats in the showers to prevent slippage. The ceiling paint in the guest bathroom was peeling. The windows in the whole house were dirty and obviously had not been cleaned for some time. Numerous light bulbs were burned out with no replacements.

We didn't need all the rooms of this big house, but we enjoyed the rooms we used. The kitchen had all the tools we needed to cook meals, and there was a wonderful Weber grill on the deck, which had great views of the valley below. It was great to have the washer, and dryer for our 2 month stay. The main bedroom had a bathroom adjoining it with a walk in shower which was very convenient. There was a second bathroom closer to the living room. The living room was where we spent many good hours, in the comfortable recliners. The dining room was between the kitchen and living room. Check in went fine-we used the door code, and found the garage remotes on the counter, and figured out things fine. When we had a problem with the door keys and internet/Direct TV the managers helped us out quickly. It was a very quiet, and walkable neighborhood, which was close to shopping and restaurants, and downtown Prescott, but not too close. It was easy access to Prescott Valley too. June was hotter in Prescott than we expected, but the home had 2 evaporative units that supplemented the AC to make it tolerable. There was a good library, and the place was decorated in a traditional way that reflected the owner, and their generation. The white carpet in the dining room and living room was starting to show it's age too, but overall the place was very comfortable for us and our dog, and we are showing our age too. This place would accommodate a larger group fine, if the people could deal with stairs.

We really loved the location, the layout and the views of this rental. We were pleasantly surprised when arrived with location and the views. This place is absolutely weathered and a nostalgic snapshot of the ‘70s. As per most of the reviews, this place needs some serious upgrades, however if they wish to remain nostalgic, then they need repairs (flooring, carpets, some furniture). We did have AC issues not keeping up with the outdoor heat and we brought it up to the management company after our stay since. It didn’t bother us too much and we rented over the 4th long weekend, which made no sense to complain about it during our stay. In the end, with some upgrades and or repairs this rental could be a rare gem.

While the decor is very dated we really enjoyed our stay at this rental. The view is fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed the king size bed, the recliners, the location and the outside deck. Lilly, as property manager, was great to work with. Looking forward to coming back next year.

The home is in a great Prescott location and the views from the living room, deck, and bedrooms are beautiful. The home is older, could use some updating, and some of the furniture could use cleaning or repair (scores of 4 vs 5). All in all, it was a great place to relax after hiking, and enjoy the Prescott mountain landscape.

My husband and I have travelled all over the country and stayed in many vacation rentals. This is by far our favorite out of all of them! It is an older home, built in the 60's, and still has a lot of the retro personality. I love the blue tile/blue bathtub/sink in one bathroom and the green tile shower and green sink in the other bathroom. They have been very well taken care of and have a lot of personality! We had absolutely everything we needed and the king bed in the master was heavenly. The entire house is just a great and cozy place to stay. The only issues were the coffee pot went out after two days, but Meg the property manager came by within two hours and brought a new one. Some of the lights outside on the steps were out and the maintenance man Tim came by and quickly took care of that. The location cannot be beat. It is on a dead end road in a beautiful area of Prescott. The house sits up high and there is a fabulous view from the deck no matter what time of day. We are hoping to make it back soon and stay longer. We went on the Granite Mountain Hot Shots Memorial Trail hike. It was a moderate to difficult hike and took us about ten hours, but we took a lot of breaks and were able to really take in the scenery. I just cannot describe what a meaningful memorial this is to the brave men who gave their lives fighting that fire. We went to Whiskey Row on the weekend and there was a Fall Festival going on with lots of vendors and we went to eat at the Palace Restaurant and Saloon which is a great piece of history. There was also a parade with the Prescott Long Riders with 13 on each of their shirts and 13 miniature horses representing each of the servicemen and women who recently gave their lives in Afghanistan. Prescott is a wonderful place to visit and this will be our house of choice any time we return!
