Amazing Urban Oasis - Close to Everything!

Such a lovely place! My mom and I truly enjoyed the adorable and somewhat spacious home. Close to downtown area.

Great place!

Good location, very clean. We feel very comfortable with this house. The host equipped everything we need. We are very happy with our stays.

The property was spacious enough for a family of 5. It is clean and well maintained. It is very easy to get in the house with the code provided and communication with owner and rental management is great. Everything you need is provided in the house. Beds and pillows do need upgrading especially if you are staying for more than two days. We did not like that there is no designated parking, so you may end up parking a block away.

We couldn't have been happier with this property. It was appointed with everything we needed and so close to all the fun activities we planned in San Diego. It made our vacation that much better spending less time driving. We loved it!

The house is lovely. It was comfortable, well stocked and had extra amenities like coffee, tea, snacks, beach toys and chairs. The extra half bath is a bonus in a 2 bedroom house. One thing I would add would be black out drapes in the bedrooms. The uniform shutters throughout look good but more darkness in the bedrooms would be great, especially for kids.

What a great place! This house was exactly as advertised and perfect for our family getaway. We didn’t have any issues with parking, always found a spot within a block and the neighborhood is walking friendly. The AC was nice and cold and the shower was wonderful and gets extra hot! The kitchen was fully stocked and even had an electric tea kettle. The balcony out back was perfect for drinking coffee in the morning and a great view of the moon at night. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Everything was just as advertised

Small house was perfect for two adult couples. Kitchen had everything we needed for a weekend stay. The private backyard was a bonus for hanging out. Parking could be difficult at times as others have noted.

Place was perfect for our needs. Location was good. Parking could be challenging but we always found a spot thanks to our spirit world! The unhoused are around but we are urban pioneers from Chicago so we get it. The weather really is UFB!! Get why you’d want to live there but cost of living is crazy. Thanks for everything! Well stocked place! Oh and coffee very nice touch!!!

Great communication with the homeowner

everything was good except the parking is the craps. We drove around for half hour one night looking for a place to park. ended up bringing 3.5 blocks away. there's no driveway to park in

Absolutely wonderful place to stay - I was sad to leave! Comfortable, quiet, private, and near everything. We loved everything about the place! They care for every little detail, including things I didn’t expect, like leaving laundry detergent for us, a HUGE washing machine, beach towels, a cooler to borrow, and an ice pack in the freezer. We didn’t travel with littles, but they had just about everything you need for little ones, including a high chair and pack-n-play. Absolutely charming backyard with tables/chairs and pretty landscaping! The only very minor drawback is parking - as you may - or may not - get a spot near the house. Luckily for us, we only had to park a few blocks away for one evening. The rest of the time we were able to park very near the house. But honestly I didn’t mind the distance to park as it’s a nice neighborhood to walk through. I would highly recommend and will hope to stay here again should I find myself back in San Diego.

A home away from home with all the amenities. Close to many sites. Safe neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again

This house was just perfect for our San Diego vacation. It's a short distance from the airport and many great attractions. The house was well equipped with amenities. I was able to cook dinner twice to save money on meals. At times it was difficult to find a parking spot nearby. The photoshopped images of the back yard were deceiving. The city skyscrapers, highway noise, and heat pump sound made it difficult to enjoy the outdoors. But, overall, it's a great rental.

A fabulous property with everything we needed. The house was immaculate and the hosts were easy to communicate with.

Mostly. The only thing I will mention is one of the floor tiles in the bathroom was loose. Your maintenance people may want to take a look before it becomes a problem. The tile is just in front of the toilet. This is not a complaint just an observation for your assistance. Great stay.

The location of the house. Was a hop,skip and a jump to everything. The host included suggestions,for touring and eating. We followed quite a few of them and they were not dissappointing.

This house was very pleasant, clean, and comfortable. It had all the amenities that made it feel like home away from home, especially with small kids. It was centrally located in San Diego, and walkable to downtown and public transit lines. The neighborhood was cute and felt safe, although there is a homeless population a few blocks away, but that’s the unfortunate reality of our cities and nothing to do with the house or the hosts.

The house was nice and clean and spacious. It's also not far away from downtown San Diego. The parking situation wasn't the best but I always managed to find a space at the end of the night.

Our stay was a welcoming and entirely pleasant experience. My son and I found a cheerful and fully equiped house.

Hosts were great and responsive. The house was perfect for what we needed. Within reasonable walking distance of convention center. Would certainly stay there again in the future.

Parking was a bit of a headache

Close to Navy base, to airport, and things to do. The bbq was great to have and the backyard was beautiful.

A spacious, clean property that was quiet at night. Comfortable bed. Close to downtown and Coronado Island. We were very happy with it. The only challenge was parking, which is the same everywhere in San Diego.

Very cute little home nestled in one of San Diego’s historic neighborhoods. We were attending a multi-day conference at the San Diego Convention Center and it was in a super convenient location for us to get to the Convention Center every morning fairly easily. I will say the parking situation is a little crazy as the place does not have a driveway and you have to park on the street. We more often than not had to park a decent distance away and walk back, which was not a big deal for us but may make things difficult if you have small kids to herd back to the home.

A beautiful, comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood a quick walk or ride share to the Gaslamp and Petco. Nicely stocked, updated kitchen and bathrooms. Will stay here again.

Great property close to a lot of attractions. Home was clean and had all necessary essentials for our stay.

The neighborhood isn't the greatest but we loved the short walk to Petco Park. The house had everything we needed for our family (2 adults + 2 teenagers). Might be difficult to sleep more people than that but plenty of room otherwise. Kitchen was well-stocked with cups, plates and silverware and having two bathrooms was very convenient. Nice to have the little patio in back to enjoy coffee in the morning. Can't imagine a better place to stay if you have a group of 4 and want to get to/from the ballpark or other nearby areas.

The listing was acurate. Honestly, the pictures seemed to be taken right after remodle when folage and greenery were abundant. When arrived, house was very clean and accurate to pictures on the inside. Neighborhood was decent and quiet. We did not here any noice from the airport or jets flying out and in. It was very helpful to have two bathrooms and a shower for kids. House comes with blow up bed with adequate room in living room to use it. Has helpful foyer when you walk in and closet to put things. Adequate hangers and closet in each room. Board games link ginga are provided. Beach toys, beach chairs, boogy boards and beach umbrellas are provided. Full kitchen, except oven, with adequite pots pans and silverware were provided. I appreciated plastic plates and cups were provided for kids as we have two. Bathroom with shower was good size, house was updated on inside, i appreciated the granit counter tops. I liked the fenced in yard in back and front for our toddler. The one gripe i had was parking, we had to park around the block most of the time as its all public parking and no spots directly in front of house. This was little frustrating coming back from late days at sea world and rhe beach. However, this was noted in listing and in other reviews so we knew that. We had such a great experience and will definitely be back! We have 3 kids 4 and under. They thought of everything for families such as having sound machines, high chair, packnplay, infant/toddler tub. The enclosed backyard was perfect for our little ones to play safely outside. We really love the location since it was a short drive to everywhere we went; Coronado, Lego Land, Mission Beach. Thanks so much for having our family!

Very happy to stay at this house

Everything was great and we loved the house, deck and backyard. The location was great and in walking distance to many attractions, but you had to walk through large homeless encampments to get to there. The noise level from the highway was excessive. The hosts were very responsive

First time using Vrbo and visiting San Diego. The host was accommodating and responded quickly when i needed assistance after booking and prior to checking in. The home was located close to downtown. I felt safe and was able to take walks in the morning to downtown coffee shops. If we arrived after 8 or 9 we had to park far away. Other than the parking everything was great.

Great place for two couples to stay. Close to many eateries within less than a mile. Easy walking distance to Petco Park. Highly recommend The Mission on J street for a unique breakfast or lunch. Thanks for the corn hole game and snacks.

The property was nice and clean and had great instructions and communication from hosts. Comfortable beds, easy to use thermostat, nice yard for kids. The only thing I’d warn the light sleepers out there about - one night there was a loud barking dog that woke up our family at 12:30 am and again around 5:30 am. It went on for a long time. We didn’t get much sleep that night. I texted the hosts the next morning and they immediately responded saying they had complained to the neighbor. The next 2 nights we stayed there were ok. The host has noise machines in the bedrooms which is great and helpful. But it you’re a light sleeper this could be an issue for you, and not really something the hosts can control so I felt it important to mention while still giving 5 stars - as the hosts did what was in their control to mitigate the problem and were very responsive.

The house was clean, well taken care of and close to freeways and to all the places we wanted to go. It was also a few blocks from the city, so we had easy access to downtown, but this also comes with experiencing all of what the city offers. All in all it was a very nice house and we had a great time on our trip and staying at this house.

We booked to use as a hub for college visits with our teenagers. The home was centrally located to everything and all of the colleges and we got to give the kids a taste of many parts of San Diego!The home was clean and well maintained and had all the basic amenities we needed!

We stayed here during our spring break vacation from Franklin Tn. The property was in great shape and the house was very clean upon arrival. They have a book that was very helpful detailing restaurants around the area, and other important info. Parking can be an issue but I always dropped the family off and found a place to park. The backyard is pretty secluded and relaxing in the morning. I was excited to see they had a real coffee maker and not that k-cup garbage.

Within 12 hours of arriving we had a medical emergency. This house was conveniently located 5 minutes from the hospital which allowed us to go home, freshen up, and return back to the hospital. Because most of our time was spent at the hospital and we could not cook, the variety of food places within the general vicinity was appreciated. I’m thankful for the house being clean and offering all the amenities we needed during a very stressful time.

we had a delightful experience at the property. The property itself is absolutely lovely and perfectly suited for accommodating a few guests. One of the highlights is its convenient location, being just an 8-minute drive to the water. While we opted to use Uber for our transportation needs, we noticed that there is plenty of parking space available for those who prefer to drive.There is one small recommendation I would like to make. We found the TV in the property to be quite small. While this certainly didn't deter us from having an amazing time, a larger TV would definitely enhance the overall experience for future guests.Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay, especially just hanging out and relaxing at the property. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for us to stay.

We are walkers so enjoyed accessing Gaslamp, Little Italy, Balboa Park, Ferry to Coronado all on foot. Authentic neighbourhood which we prefer. Communication with property management and owner efficient and timely. Incredibly well equipped home. Thoughtful snack awaiting us. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms excellent. Loved the city and felt very lucky to have found this home.

The place is super cute, very comfortable great location and has parking around it. We cooked many nights in the spacious well stocked kitchen and even used the BBQ a few times. Would definitely use again.

We rented the home for 10 days. It was spotless and everything we needed was there. It was close to just about everything and out of the way enough to be quiet in the evening. Staying in contact with the owners was a breeze and they made everything easy for us during check-in and check-out. I would recommend this holiday home to anyone! 5 stars all the way!

This property was excellent. It was very clean upon arrival. The kitchen was stocked with items we didn’t expect—spices, paper towels, plastic food bags. That pattern was evident throughout—laundry soap, shampoo, etc. the house is located close to downtown which made it easy to get around. There is an attractive backyard and grill. The only hurdle was finding a parking spot in front of the house. We usually had to park a block or two away but that was only a minor inconvenience. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous rental with professional hosts. They provided everything we could think of to make this stay very easy. Thank you so much.The only negative is that we felt slightly unsafe in the area with many homeless around at night, shouting, going through our bins and banging on car bonnets. A real shame as I'm sure it's just a sign of the times and not the hosts fault in anyway.

Overall the home was absolutely lovely. Parking was hard. Many times we had to park 1/2 to a block away. Not a huge deal. But next time I’d just Uber from this spot unless you’re going far out of town. The pillows were hard. That’s the only complaint and that’s just a personal preference.

My husband and I took my elderly parents to this beautiful 2 bedroom 1 1/2 home for a 3 night 4 day stay. We loved it because it was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location of this home is excellent to traveling over to Coronado.
