Amazing beachfront house w/private washer/dryer, WiFi, central AC, Ping-Pong

We enjoyed the house at Sandbridge Beach. It was in a great location. The only feedback we would provide is that the house is a little dated and needs some updating by the owner.

House and location were great

Location Location Location!!!! We would rent this home again. It was clean and the perfect size for our family. There is a new couch and dishwasher. We appreciated the Keurig and an extra traditional coffee maker for larger gatherings. The weather was great and we only needed the AC for one of the days we were visiting. There were some things I would like to have known before renting. We needed to make another grocery order for paper goods; trash bags, paper towels, TP, etc. I am giving this beach home rental an excellent rating, because the inconveniences were not that big of a deal. Although, beach towels and a couple of beach chairs would have made this a perfect trip. The pool table was a big hit and we loved the reading nook area. Our family had a great stay and we would recommend the home!

We loved the house and its location. It was a perfect place for the get together of our extended family of 6 adults and 6 children. Everything was as presented on the listing and the direct beach access was wonderful. The only disappointments were the poorly maintained shower plumbing and shower door in the downstairs king bedroom bathroom and the miniblinds in that bathroom that fell down when they were lightly touched to adjust the tilt of the blinds. With a little attention to these issues the rental would be a perfect five!

While the views from the home are gorgeous, the house itself wad so very disappointing. There was a very large mold spot on the powder room ceiling. The house was in need of a thorough cleaning. Some of the furniture and comforters were stained and dirty. I actually washed our comforter. The wood work was layered with dust. The counters and stove had crumbs on them. We wiped them down and the wipe was dirty. We had to wipe down the outdoor furniture it was as so dirty. I don’t know why we pay a cleaning fee. It wasn’t cleaned well at all. I feel we deserve a cleaning fee refund!

The house is beautiful and the location is awesome. Plenty of accommodations for everyone. The house is not close to any stores for supplies and when paper towels and trash bags were not available we were a little surprised. As the weather worsened the house shook and there was constant noise but we all survived. A downed line nearby took out the TV and Internet but I am sure that is not the norm.

Villamare has four nice-sized bedrooms, three of which have private baths attached. There’s a great closet filled with games and tons of DVDs, and the light in the house is amazing. The kitchen needs work. The dishwasher was broken before we got there and when the replacement arrived, it couldn’t be installed because the pipes were too corroded. Kitchen utensils, pots, and pans are also in need of updating, and the dining table is wobbly as are the chairs. There is no outdoor shower which made for a lot of sun being unwittingly tracked inside and in the bathrooms — many drains took a while to empty which I’m guessing is because of the sand buildup. There’s a short walk to the beach which is lovely and the beach itself is a little slice of heaven.

Well stocked kitchen, great view, plenty of games, books and videos - it was great!

I'd like to give this house a 4.5. It is a very nice house with a beautiful view of the ocean from all four bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. We loved the upstairs library and reading nook. It was a great getaway for all of us. Our only issues were broken blinds in two of the bedrooms, a leaky sliding glass door in the smaller upstairs bedroom which lent itself to two very cold nights and a broken TV in that room as well. The TV was lying face down on the dresser . I called the office right after we checked in and was told someone would be over the next morning. No one ever came. I didn't really need the TV so I didn't not call again. I have rented many vacations houses and understand the challenge of keeping everything maintained so I just wanted to mention couple of things. The worst was the lack of responsiveness from the office.
